Consisting of two warehouses located in Trochu and Olds Alberta, we are stocked with a vast array of footwear for all types of occasions! Originally built and open by shoe maker Henry Rist in 1962 and later ran by his son Vern Rist. Henry's is proud to be serving quality footwear for 58 years."

Top notch , a must see, a must do, even if you dont need shoes. Is this the Dr Who of shoes" Tardis", small on the outside impossibly huge on the inside? Absolutely packed with shoes of all kinds AND brands. We had no clue , no need of shoes, but entered and stayed for an hour and bought a few pair. Dig deeper you'll find something that you never thought existed or you needed. Staff owners all friendly ,and helpful. A gem in the most unlikely spot!!
An unexpected find when I needed a pair of walking shoes while on vacation. Drove to Trochu . Very deep selection and walked out with two pairs of shoes. Truly a unique find. Has a good internet presence as well. Recommended

Amazing selection for everyone and every occasion. Prices are very competitive for quality brands. Highly recommend the drive. Felt smothered by salesgirl. Appreciate good customer service, and security in such a well stocked business, hard to find these days for sure, but let customers have a moment to breathe and browse. Would definitely deter me from return visit.
"Are you in town to visit the shoe store?" Was one of the first things the waitress asked us at the restaurant a couple of doors up the street, as she took our order. "People from Calgary come here for shoes all the time." "Are you for real", was was the first thing that came to my mind, "yes, it looks interesting from the front" is what came out of my mouth "it looks like they have a lot of selection", I politely added, having parked in front of the unassuming store and noticed the sonewhat eclectic displays in its window. An hour and a half later, after having lunched and then wandered through the claustrophobic isles of the shoe store, we came out with a pair each of really nice shoes, having received awesome friendly, going out of their way service from the father and sons team. Highly recommend this place for it's crazy variety and selection. Great, friendly, familial service.
