I went in to get my photos printed. End up buying a new camera. I received excellent customer service from Jessica! If it was not for her patience and easy going attitude, I would not have bought the camera.
I had a great experience with this branch! Personally worked with Nicolai - but I'm sure all the staff is as knowledgeable. I had great service. He took the time to understand what we wanted to do and the type of pictures we wanted to take. Then he explained to us the various cameras and options lenses, protection etc as well as the price differences and what you get for your money. Once we chose the right camera he showed me how to use it and again explaining the various settings you would use in the various shooting conditions. Absolutely wonderful experience and great service! I couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommended and can't wait to try out my new Nikon D7500!!!
I had a very enjoyable experience buying a camera and accessories today. Great sales person who knew how to make things work for me. He was able to deliver what U was looking for at the price I was willing to pay. I will start to enjoy my D7500 in the coming weeks.
I have been a customer at Henry’s on Hunt Club in Ottawa for many years. The customer service at this location is first class. All of the Staff are excellent. They are approachable, friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. They go that ‘extra mile’, spending time to ensure that my photographic needs are met, and my concerns are addressed. All of my photographic questions, both in practical and theory, have been answered patiently and fully, in an easy to understand manner. In the last year, I shopped for a compact camera. Jessica Rose took the time to show me all models available, and explained their individual features. She was determined and successful in finding the perfect camera fit for me. I purchased the Olympus Tough waterproof camera and have been completely satisfied with it . Since buying the compact camera, I have consistently returned to Henry’s for all of my photographic needs. I have been completely satisfied with Jessica and her co-workers’ excellent customer service.
Excellent service every time I go into this location! You might have to wait a bit because they are sometimes busy, but once an associate is with you, they are amazing! I bought my first full-frame camera here. Keith Lockhart was the associate who helped me out, and he was super patient and gave me multiple quotes on a bunch of combinations of gear! Keith was genuinely interested in getting me the best deal without up-selling me stuff I didn't need. I would 100% recommend this location!
Most cameras can be bought anywhere, but you can't beat the service from the staff at this store. Jessica was very patient and knowledgeable, helping me compare two cameras. After my purchase, I noticed that the price was lower in Holiday specials. Mark converted the price difference into a gift card with just a phone call. As an out of town customer, this was really valuable to me. Very impressive and helpful staff!
Recently I purchased yet another camera and lens from Henry’s in Ottawa and thought it was time for me to write about the consistent quality of the service that I have been provided over the past eight years. During that period, I have purchased a variety of cameras, lenses, tripods, filters, flashes, printers and inks, photo paper, and so on. I have purchased most of this equipment from Holly Felker, the Manager of Henry’s on Hunt Club Road in Ottawa. It has been wonderful to deal with her as she is very personable and very knowledgeable about photography equipment. As a result, her advice and that of her staff has been consistently excellent and invaluable. My husband and I are snowbirds who spend our winters in Florida where most photography stores have closed due to state tax policies. I cannot emphasize enough how much we miss Henry’s while we are there. When we return to Canada, it is so pleasant to reconnect with our local Henry’s store with its friendly and knowledgeable personnel and its inventory of photo equipment and accessories that you can see and touch.
Visited the store today to purchase a mirrorless camera. I had 2 in mind and was unsure of which would best suit my needs. I was met by Richard and I'm glad he approached me to help me with making a calculated decision. He was fantastic and an expert in cameras. He was friendly and at no times I felt like I was being pressured to buy a more expensive camera. I did not buy the more expensive camera... The reason I'm writing this review is to mention how happy I was to meet him and he provided an exceptional service. Thank you
If you are looking for a camera or camera equipment in Nepean/Merivale area or near the the airport YOW this is the only shop to go too. Each staff member knows cameras and with a few points of what you are looking for they will have your set up with the best product and best price. I dealth with Maurice, he is by far the best salesman i have dealt with in a while. I was uncertain about what i wanted to buy in getting a new camera in the last 10years. after about 45min he went through the bonuses and drawbacks of every type of camera they had in the store. He was good at helping me decide what i wanted with the facts he presented and it was more like a friend helping pick the best thing for me, no pressure and very helpful. I also, literally bought a clearance camera at Best Buy for Black Friday and drove here thinking they couldn't beat the price but i would at least get more info on what i had bought no help from Best Buy. Not only did i get a way better camera, but i got one that actually fit my needs and they beat the clearance price with a better camera. Well done Henry's
Just went in, thought I needed a prime lens for my Nikon DS3400. The young man at the counter should have got his name but didn't convinced me that I already had all the lenses that I needed for my level. So that's a good recommendation as to how trustworthy they are. Previous experiences have also been good.
