Henry's at the Drift Inn

I had heard a lot about Henry's and how I needed to eat here. When we arrived at about 5:30 PM, there was only one family in the restaurant, but the servers were nowhere to be seen. We had to wait about 10 minutes before someone finally came out from the back. We were then seated, and our server, who admitted that she was newer, was a little awkward and too attentive, though she wasn't overbearing in any way. The food was reasonably priced, and I ordered a hamburger and my wife got a sandwich, as these were the only things besides seafood on the menu (so if you are into seafood, this is definitely the place for you). The cooking took a little while, but the food, for the most part, was pretty good. The bread for my bun was a little weird, but the burger was good and my wife enjoyed her sandwich. All in all, it isn't a place that we are necessarily interested in visiting again, but it wasn't bad, and because your only options for a good sit-down restaurant in Rupert consist of this and a few dives, it certainly set itself apart from the competition. I give it four stars because though our experience wasn't overly amazing, the place was clean, the people were kind, and the food was reasonably priced.

Always have such a great experience when I dine in at the Drift. My favorite is the Finger Steaks & Dutch Oven Potatoes. Jenali on the longue side of the restaurant is one of the best employees I've ever seen. She has a following of people with her special & tasty drinks and she provides above and beyond customer service.

My wife and I went here a few months ago and I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was excellent, very attentive but not annoying. Very personable and professional. I wish I could remember our server's name so that I could recommend her by name but she was great. My wife ordered the finger steaks and I ordered the chicken alfredo. I liked my dish but I really liked the finger steaks. Great food! If you live in the area, I would definitely recommend you stopping by and giving it a try.

Our server Jenali was absolutely amazing.... I came from Idaho falls and I have not yet met someone with better service skills and the most amazing personality ever... the food was amazing but I will come back just to see her! Thank you!

So I'm not going to write this place off of today's visit. Usually every time we have gone we have had good service, great food, and stiff drinks. This time on the other hand the service sucked but the food was good. Everytime I'm in town from Florida I tried to make it a point to eat here. It is highly recommended.
