Hemingway's Restaurant and Bar

We made a reservation for Friday lunch on the patio to make the most of last days of summer and patio season.nnWe were seated very close to the bar and we could see everything coming out of the downstairs kitchen and being served to other customers; everything looked so delicious.nnWe ordered “Thai Chicken Salad”. The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was very delicious.nnThe service is fast and staff are friendly.nnParking could be a challenge here, but it’s perfectly accessible through subway.

They have a nice rooftop patio/bar that's great for date nights or hanging out with friends. The food was not bad although it's your standard pub/bar fare. The fish and chips were crispy and the fries were like Costco fries yum, and the portions are actually huge. Service wasn't bad either but sometimes quite hard to flag down our server since she was always busy making drinks at the bar too. Definitely a cool place to go to, and I'm glad I tried, but probably not for me again!

We had a terrific time on the rooftop patio. Service was terrific, I really enjoyed my avocado peach salad, my partner enjoyed his clubhouse sandwich but it could have used a bit more lettuce and tomato. All in all a nice place to spend a warm summer afternoon!

The patio here is nice and the place has a great vibe overall. It’s not an upscale restaurant but something fun and sporty! The food is good and service is quick. Check them out!

Great fish and chips that had a very tasty big piece of fish.nI had the butter chicken with rice and although the sauce was very good, the chicken pieces were very dry. I had to cut in small bites and run through the sauce in order not to choke. Also had to request more rice but was given white rice instead of basmati ‍nI would come back to be on the rooftop again, but definitely go to an Indian restaurant next time.
