This place is awesome. Every time I go to Syracuse I make sure I visit Helena's. They have great Greek food, I always enjoy my food, this time I tried the grape leaves. I really love the baklava and I always bring a large box home. They have a deli and a little market inside as well. The food is cooked upon order and is delicious. Have been a couple of times now and have been impressed each time. The Gyros are outstanding and the people are fantastic as well. Highly recommend and I can't wait to go back and try some of their specials.

I'm sorry to see another AMAZING restaurant is closed. I went there to get some of the awesome feta cheese and kalamata olives, etc but the signs on the doors said they are closed permanently. A huge loss!

Excellent Gyros! Love that all the food is homemade, Italian Trio is awesome! Wish I could get there more! Baklava servings are large enough to share, although I rarely do...

Love this place!! Friendly people, great food and good value. I go for lunch several times a month and they always have interesting specials and a solid regular menu. Greek salad is one of the best in town.

The shut down must of hurt them bad used to love their pizza best crispy crust now my daughter described it as school pizza. Spanakopita had barely any filling hurt dough. Sad.

Great Small Authentic Greek Restaurant and Deli.. Great Gyros, Excellent Sandwiches.. I always get the Greek Flatbread, Lamb, Feta, Roasted Red Pepper, Greek Olives, with Balsamic Drizzle, on a Grilled Pita.. OUTSTANDING.. Fantastic Greek Deli with Meats, Cheeses, Humas, and Olives.. Friendly service and great deli foods. The oven roasted turkey on marbled rye with all the veggies is a must try!

Mediocre Greek food, no atmosphere; if you dine-in, you're eating in the middle of a store. I asked for a cup of water with my meal, and was given a lukewarm cup with no ice. Also, food took forever to cook, yet did not taste fresh at all. The lamb in the gyro was not shaved, it was cubed and the pita tasted stale; maybe they purchased it next door at Budda's.
