If you want to support local places, this is one you should look at if you buy bird seed or animal feed. Straight from the mill to your car. Walk in, tell’em what you want, one man will go grab it while the other takes care of you in the office. Then they put it in your vehicle for you! Prices are the same or CHEAPER than Mills Fleet Farm or Wal Mart!
Just stopped there for the first time today to get rabbit pellets and I'm very impressed! Very much an old fashioned mill but you also get that old fashioned service. And my rabbit pellets are just as cheap as fleet farm, if not more. This is my go to place from here on out! Check them out!
They had what I wanted, price was great, and they answered all of the questions I had. Super cool old place. Even the wooden dollys are still in use.
This is our to go place for small critter food. Always great service and friendly staff.
I absolutely love going here. I don’t have farm animals but I feed local ducks and geese and they load it in my trunk for me, I couldn’t even lift the bags if I had to, but you don’t have to. It’s always fast and friendly and consistent. I’m glad this store is in my neighborhood!
Amazing! This is a place that has not changed much in its hundred plus years of operation ... and why mess with perfection? The prices are reasonable, the selection is vast, and the service is wonderful!
Friendly staff and unbeatable prices for bulk grains and feeds. They have a few blends of seed for birds along with grains processed in a variety of ways. I've been buying bulk shelled corn and the prices are very reasonable. I pay a little over $6 for a 50 pound bag of corn
We have been using this mill for 3 years. The quality of their livestock feed is amazing. They carry so many different types of products for everything from barn animals, to house pets, to wild birds and more. The owner and all his staff are AMAZING and so polite and true gentlemen!! they help load the feed if you need it and always bring it out to your car with a smile. When you walk in there you instantly feel like you have stepped back 100 years. I would absolutely recommend this place to ANYONE who needs feed for farm or home.
Every time I go here, I'm glad I did, and I think to myself, "It's amazing that St. Cloud still has a place like this." It's a mill, located along the Sauk River, where it enters into the Mississippi. You can find every kind of animal food cat, dog, duck, goose, poultry, swine, horse, cow, songbird, sheep here. I love the way the place smells - like hearty grains like oats and wheat and more. Best of all, I like the employees. It still feels like a small town when you go in here, look at the handwritten board, and tell them what you want, or if you're like me, ask them what I should be feeding a particular animal. Then they go get the bag and will even place it in your car or truck for you. Another nice feature is the bulletin board pictured, where people have animals, hay, and more to buy and sell. I hope we never lose this place. It's a real gem.
Great fast service. Feed loaded in to vehicle. I use both hog and Chicken feed. Both are quality nutrition for my animals.
