Visited with family of 6 on the Friday evening of Alpenfest (last weekend of September). Small store with variety of merchandise. Large selection of souvenir clothes: ball caps, sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc. Also post cards, some other local specialties - syrup/jam from local fruit, momentos from Chief Joseph. Some other generic 'gift' items: children's pajamas, garden decor.

I visited Wallowa lake 3 years ago, this is one of the gift shops I stopped at and liked the most. Staff was friendly and lots of things to look at. I want to go back up there just to buy another sweatshirt, the one I bought I wear all the time and it's getting worn out :)
