Visited on a Saturday morning with family of 6 -- wow! Locally-owned bookstores are an endangered species, this one is an exceptional specimen. What we liked: Quaint, cozy atmosphere, surprisingly good selection for a very small store. Small nook where children's attention can focus while parents browse. Family friendly content -- no 'adult only' literature prominently displayed. Array of local art/crafts and used books too. Thoughtful store; a placed I'd like to spend more time; would be one of our regular weekend stops if we lived in the area.

Fantastic bookstore & coffee shop in downtown Enterprise! Best place in town to sit and sip on tea or coffee while perusing a book or checking your email.

Excellent little nook filled with books. They have lots of local authors, kids books, maps and everything in between. This includes a place where you can order and drink coffee while you read; local photography, art, used books and much more! If you are a book lover this is a must see!

Mary Swanson of The Bookloft in Enterprise provided attendees at the 2017 Summer Fishtrap writer's gathering with books by the outstanding faculty and other presenters. Mary was helpful and friendly--always willing to answer our questions and share her valuable knowledge about the books when asked. Wallowa County is so lucky to have her and this wonderful bookstore in their community!
