We ordered the 8 piece chicken tenders and wedges, and the tenders were nothing but the fried batter ! As if the meat did not exist at all, every bite I took as shown in the pictures did not have meat whatsoever, I am so confused and this should have been called 8 piece fried batter, not 8 piece chicken tenders... The wedges were good , as well as the atmosphere, but this should not be the reason why people come here to enjoy as this is a fried chicken restaurant. Very disappointed!
It was OK. We got the four piece meal with wedges to go. The chicken was super crispy but unfortunately was mostly comprised of lumped, unfried batter rather than meat. Where there was chicken though, it was tasty and juicy. Glad we gave Heffy's a try but may stick to other establishments in the future because of the batter situation.
Very well flavoured fried chicken, and friendly staff. Ordered 12 pcs of chicken with wedges. Good portion for a family of 5. Would recommend ordering again.
I went to try this place for the first time and the service was excellent and the chicken and wedges were delicious. The flavour of the chicken is different to any other fried chicken I’ve tried before. It was very, very tasty. It’s very affordable and big portions for the price. Very pleased with this new place. If you like fried chicken and want to get away from the same boring fried chicken of other places give this place a try. You won’t regret it.
First off the chicken and the batter are very good, which is super important. The chicken tenders which my kid loved could contain more chicken and it would be nice if they had a French fry option on their menu as he didn't like the potato wedges. The restaurant needs to change their radio station playing to something with less explicit lyrics. Finally I thought it was on the pricier end when compared to its competitors. Kid-friendliness: The service lady was very friendly to my 5 year old son... But the music playing in the restaurant was NOT kid friendly. Parking: No easy way to get to the restaurant from the parking garage if there is, better signage is needed.
Could be better. Asked specifically for all thighs, but it was still mixed. Asked to place potato salad with coleslaw but still got potato salad….waited for 15 mins to get the order. Tenders contained a lot of batter, less chicken. Position is relatively small. Chicken was good. Wedges were not good.
The chicken is fantastic. It's not greasy to the extent where it leaves you feeling gross after a couple of pieces. I'm deducting one star, because the wedges are bland and tasteless. The place doesn't offer a nice range of dips either; hot sauce that comes in little plastic packets is about as good as it gets.
Chicken is very crunchy but not very greasy. Coating has flavour beyond just salt. Chicken is nice and juicy. Wedges are also great. I might even go just for the wedges.
I don't see a bright future for this place. The interior feels cheap and thrown together. Thought I'd sample a piece of chicken for my review but was told that I cannot order a piece of chicken a la carte and that I would have to order at least 2 places. Needless to say I did not leave happy.Food: 2/5
The chickens are big and thick, and very juicy and delicious. The service is amazing. Try spicy sauces! If u love spicy. Btw the potatoes are too thick.
