Heartspace Yoga and Healing Arts Troy studio is located in downtown Troy, NY on Monument Square. Our studio is the sister studio to our Albany NY location

Story

Heartspace is a community-oriented studio that offers yoga and healing arts from a range of traditions. We have two locations with studios near Washington Park in Albany and on Monument Square in downtown Troy. We offer a safe, supportive and tranquil setting with excellent instruction to help improve overall health, reduce stress, and invite a peaceful and calm mind through the practice of yoga. We offer instruction for all levels from beginners to advanced with daily drop-in classes, workshops, special events, yoga teacher training, and several community classes per week, which are offered by donation.

A great yoga studio with a variety of classes for all ability levels. The space is beautiful, the owners are friendly, and instructors are knowledgeable. Heartspace really helps foster a sense of community among the students. Love this place.
Heartspace is amazing! I have been taking regular yoga classes there for about two years while undergoing extreme family stress. I totally credit Heartspace for saving my sanity. Every class is different and wonderful in its own way— I am constantly stunned by the different frame of mind I leave the studio with. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude.
Kathy, the instructor was very welcoming. She made sure that I was doing well because this was my very first Yoga class. Other participants were enjoying the class as much as I was!
Lovely space, warm & inviting teacher. I felt immediately ‘at home’. Supplies are clean & well organized, windows overlook downtown Troy. There are classis and workshops for every level.
I am an aging guy nearing retirement and this was my first yoga class ever. Due to the setting and the empowerment I felt from I nstructor Kathy Burke, I am convinced I was in the right place at the right time in my life! Looking forward to Heartspace and my future!
Wonderful clean studio, breeze blowing in from the windows, view of trees, sounds birds chirping outside. Relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a yoga class!
I have been practicing yoga for over twenty years, and this is an exceptional yoga studio. The classes, community and atmosphere are superb. Felt like home the minute I walked through the door.

This is the only place in the Capital District offering a thorough well-taught class in the Ashtanga practice of yoga. A real find. I chose 4 stars because they used to offer many more.
The studio in Troy is a sanctuary for self-care. Terrific setting, terrific teachers, terrific results. Highly recommend.
