Heart Doctors

I love Dr. Airey...however the only way to make an appointment is to leave a message any someone will call you back....at THEIR convenience. It took me a month of playing phone tag to get an appointment. I've considered switching doctors it was so frustrating.

Dr Purdy and his team saved my life!!! Went into Rapid City Regional with severe chest pains and within 10 minutes I was in the cath lab where I got two stints placed in my left anterior descending artery. I was in the middle of the "widow maker" and would have been dead within minutes if not for this great doctor and his very talented team. He will forever have my gratitude. The follow up at The Heart Doctors has been excellent with careful monitoring of my cholesterol meds and a genuine concern shown by the fine staff there.

On January 31 I had an appointment for a stress test. During the procedure the nurse who scheduled my appointment also was the one who did the procedure. While I was sitting on a bed having my heart photographed this nurse began coughing. I was concerned she was getting sick and asked if she was getting sick. 3 days later I got sick and one week later I still am. I do not know if the Heart Doctors do not pay their staff enough so they feel they need to work when they are sick I do not know if this nurse is just a rogue unprofessional. I contacted the Heart Doctors and am still awaiting a response.
