The receptionist at Harwichport plumbing was great, sent someone out to see what the issue was on the same day. The person fixed it right away. I had called two other plumbing companies. One said they were too busy to take on new clients and the other never called back. Kudos to Harwichport plumbing!

We had a problem with our hot water heater. No hot water to some warm water. I called on a Monday morning and they had a technician here by 1:00. We needed a new pump not a new water heater! That was good news! Very professional job done by Will.

Poor customer service. I was charged over $400 and they never fixed the problem. The technician said that he had no idea what the problem was and told us to call Roto Rooter. He was annoyed that we didn't know where the main drain to the house was located. We told him we just bought the house. He was still rude and didn't seem to care. We called Roto Rooter and they were in and out in 90 minutes. Harwichport still billed me and demanded payment for not getting the job done. If you have a plumbing issue just call RotoRooter. We used them for other services and they are way overpriced.

Called HH&C about replacing parts that caused my pilot not to light after a gas meter was renewed. Dispatcher wrote down the wrong problem, that the boiler was not starting. That was not the issue as the boiler was working. It was that it was not working well and the thermo-coupler needed replacing. The technician came checked a couple of things, did not replace the device and I was charged $165. I talked with dispatcher and said that I expected that the part would have been replaced. She said he spent an hour there and I was charged accordingly. Three months later, the thermo-coupler failed and a service technician came out on Easter to fix the problem for another $530. For one simple thermo-coupler repair it was almost $700. I called HH&C to discuss the communication with the first appointment and that if was I requested was done, the second appointment would not have ocurred. I spoke with a supervisor and wrote a letter to the general manager. The supervisor gave me a hard time, never acknowledged what I was telling him, accused me of trying to not pay the bill and was generally rude. The general manager never returned my phone call or answered my letter. I have used HH&C for years. They have been responsive and professional in the past. This incident of a lack of understanding and communication, if an example of how they treat long standing customers, may indicate a trend for disappointed unhappy customers. I am still waiting for follow-up.

Came on time to the minute. In fact I was the one who was late to the appt. During busy season, they even re-routed the tech BACK a second time to meet me after I was late the first time. Quickly diagnosed a capacitor issue & had my central AC up & running again quickly. The tech taught me a few things about exactly what he was doing as well. I will absolutely rely on them again in the future.
