Most adorable and welcoming bookstore! There are so many books but it's not too over whelming either. Very organized and clean. They also have a small cafe! There are nooks and seating around as well. I felt at ease browsing around and making myself comfortable while peeking inside books. The child section is great too. You can also find cute pins, bookmarks, totes, games and stickers to purchase.
Harvey’s is one of the best independent bookstores I’ve ever visited! They have all the newest books and best sellers, plus a banned book room, true crime nook, kids’ room, and so much more. If that’s not enough, they also have a marvelous coffee shop! The staff here is phenomenal and I love their rewards program. Shop local and keep this gem in Geneva!
Harvey’s tales just about the cutest bookstore I’ve ever been to. It has all the feels of a fun never-know-what-you’re-gonna-find bookstore but the cleanliness and organization of a corporate bookstore. The place is named after the owners former Bernese mountain dog and they have little nods to their dog all through out the place. They’ve got a nice quaint little coffee shop in the middle of the store that you’ve got to stop at. Play some XL scrabble while you sip on some great coffee. The upstairs has a reservable book club room that is quiet and private. There are plenty of reading nooks to use as well.
Such a cute and fun bookstore! Great selection of books and book accessories. It is a literary journey through the store, as there are several rooms and cubby's to venture to. Though not so much where you get lost in the rooms, just lost in the vast selection of categories. It was our first time visiting, and we left with about 20 books! Like I said, great selection!
Do you ever get the feeling when you enter somewhere, you know you belong there? That's precisely the feeling I got when I walked in here. Immediately I was greeted by Marymanager who explained the entire shop top to bottom. There was more behind her words of merely describing the book shop; there was a passion that you can see radiating from her into all of her staff. The personal story of how this shop came to be is also extraordinary to hear and how they all have a singular purpose there. The book selection, location, coffee shop, kids area were fantastic! When I was browsing, I heard a man shout, "I can get there on Amazon!" I have to agree with the not so gentleman that you can get the material on Amazon, Barnes, etc. But what you cannot replicate on is this experience. To see people discussing books, having conversations, and getting lost in a random book is something you need to see to believe it!
What a cute book store! The place smells like fresh brewed coffee when you walk in. The place is so warm and inviting . They have a fun kids area where kids can sit and look at books. There is also a cozy spot by the fireplace to relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
This place is great. I would come here regularly to work since they serve coffee too but they have no public bathroom which deters me. Great though if you just want to get books and coffee and go.
The cutest bookshop with the nicest, most welcoming staff! I felt safe and comfortable as a queer book lover. There were lots of pins, mugs, magnets, and t-shirts peppered amongst the books. They have a little cafe which we didn’t get to try because it was almost closing time and a few comfy nooks for reading. Harvey’s is great and I’ll definitely be back!
What a fun little place. Perfect for a cup of coffee. Quaint for a nice read. Great gift selection and more.
This is such an adorable bookstore! There's two floors filled with multiple rooms of books, each sorted by genre. I was able to walk away with 4 books. A little pricier than getting online but I'd rather stroll a bookstore than scroll a monitor.
