The best chicken salad sub I've had in a long time! They were friendly and quick too. I can see why they are named one of the best in Kane County!

My wife and I live out of town, and we were visiting friends in Geneva for the weekend. What a cool restaurant! Comfortable environment and delicious food. I also enjoyed the local art on the walls. What stood out most to us was their level of service. After my wife received our sandwich on multigrain bread, she realized she had forgotten to ask if the bread had any tree nuts, due to her allergy. At first we asked the staff and they were unsure. So they remade her a new sandwich on a different bread at their expense. Several minutes later, the manager comes to our table having found the ingredients list to let us know there were no nuts in the bread. The manager really went the extra mile and put our minds at ease knowing an allergic reaction would not happen. Many thanks to you for the extra efforts! Happy holidays! Sandwich is unimpressive. I was urged to try this place, paid $12 for a chicken salad sandwich that lacked flavor on a barely toasted couple slices of bread. The sandwich add on’s arugula and tomato didn’t help much. The servings are small for the price.

Excellent home made lunches. Feels like I'm eating at Grandma's. Don't go to Panera, go here instead. Fresher, tastier food at a better price.

Deli style sandwiches and wraps, tasty innovative choices like porchetta on toasted french bread but also classic favs like chicken salad or grilled cheese. Clean, bright open area for inside dining, plenty of space between eating areas. Friendly staff, order at the counter, choose your table and the food is brought to you. Afterwards browse their selection of local products like candles and dishware. Plenty of parking in the lot across from the train station and behind the store.

I come to Deane’s every day for my lunch break, I’ve never had a bad sandwich or salad here for as long as it’s been around. Super comforting atmosphere and great service!

First time going in, person who greeted me was not that friendly. Bad day? I asked for recommendations and seems she had to differentiate choices by gender. It was odd, "most women get the chicken salad or veggie sandwich, while men, more food, gets the roast beef." Don't bring gender in with recommendations. I went for the roast beef, and it was okay. I like a hearty sandwich! I wish it was little more welcoming on my first time going in.

They are best known for their roast beef sandwich and they should be because it is the best roast beef I have ever had and the sandwich is perfect with the white cheddar, slightly tangy horseradish mayo, arugula, tomato, and red onions. My kids love the Italian sub and grilled cheese. So good!!

One of my favorite spots in Geneva!! Absolutely love their smoked chicken salad and they have freezer ready meals for my family to enjoy. Love this deli/cafe and the staff are always very nice and prompt.

WOW! This food was amazing! I ordered for my colleagues and myself and every single one of us LOVED the food. The roast beef was so good and the salad was so fresh and the lemon mustard vinaigrette was delicious. I will definitely be back. Just so good!!
