Harvey's + Swiss Chalet

This is meant to encourage better quality and not a criticism. I understand that working in a fast food environment is by no means easy, especially for young people new to it. I noticed that my double Angus had 2 different coloured patties. One was dark and the other light in colour. Also, together they were somewhat dry. Not typical for Harvey's. Improve on that and I'll give more stars. Otherwise, the experience was good and the staff was very friendly. Will keep going.

Nice new Swiss Chalet 🐓 on way back from skiing ⛷️ at Blue Mountain resort. We stopped for best gas price at No Frills and dinner at Swiss Chalet 🐓. Usual good value chicken dinner and an order and they bring your food process. Service was fast and pleasant 😀

I was very impressed with how polite the staff were. The restaurant was busy, but they were all calm, cool, and collected. It was hard to believe this was a fast food place; they really classed the place up. Harvey's has a veggie burger, it's vegan and so are the fries and onion rings. I will definitely be back, still can't get over how professional everyone was, they obviously have some kind of team building and training happening.

First experience - waited a very long time to order our food for dining in and then waited a long time to receive our food. The staff seemed apologetic and gave us a free meal coupon. During this visit, we overhead a couple who placed their takeout order at 6:46 and didn't receive their meals until after 7:30. Manager came out to apologize, but obviously the couple was very frustrated. The staff seem to be professional, but there are a lot of kinks they need to work through. Second experience - waited over 40 minutes passed scheduled pick up time for our order. The place was a zoo. No way to contact the restaurant - the direct phone line states "this number does not answer", so unable to speak to manager and unable to leave a message. We were very excited to hear that a new food establishment was coming to Angus, but have been disappointed on both occasions. Looks like we'll be heading back to Barrie for our dine in or take out needs.

The festive chicken dinner is just not the same minus the stuffing. If I decide there is a next time guess I am opening all containers before leaving the drive through. :( Update.... To be fair they offered a credit with no fight when I called back. So will give another chance
