This is a Wonderful, and one of the Best restaurants in Owen Sound, with great food, great service, and certainly in the most beautiful setting in Owen Sound, being in the middle of Owen Sound’s Scenic Natural gem…Harrison Park. There is ample free parking for both the park and restaurant.nThe restaurant is charming and welcoming on the outside with lovely flower beds by the entrance. It’s comfortable and beautiful inside with a soaring wood ceiling and beam design and pleasant decor. Their outdoor dining Patio is delightful addition in the summer…we love sitting outside in the relaxing, peaceful park setting, with lovely gazebo, surrounded by towering trees…and wonderful walking trails around the park, and beyond. A delightful crabapple tree, of beautiful shape, shade, spring blooms, and often birds, sits beside and slightly over some of the patio.nMy family and friends come here almost once per week, some of our faves are the Fabulous Eggs Benny for breakfast, we love the home made Turkey dinner, yes, it’s home made : for lunch or dinner. And in my opinion, one of The Best hamburgers juicy and tastes amazing! in Ontario! They have a Wonderful varied menu for every taste. Oh!, and they have a separate side area for take out food and ice cream!!nFinally, huge praise and appreciation to David, the friendly and gracious owner, who you’ll often find working along side his staff making sure things run as smoothly as possible. The greeting and serving staff are all friendly and thoughtful, accommodating to the needs of customers.nThe Harrison Park Inn Restaurant is a very very special place, set in a gorgeous park setting, to enjoy wonderful food… then enjoy/explore the park with its rivers creeks, extensive scenic trails, open areas, children’s play areas, and the park also has a small but delightful campground! We love this unique restaurant!
Great to eat in the center of a park, nature. The food is generally bland, easy on the stomach. I get a soup and salad combo for a light lunch. The price is fairly steep for what you get. When I had the blt it was bland and dry. The company I invited along also felt the food was lacking and unimpressionable. Would recommend due to its in nature location, grab something light and enjoy a nice walk or social at the park. Good date spot.
A family favourite!nGreat food, lovely staff & amazing chefs! My personal favourite is the French Onion soup with their fries and gravy. I do manage to sneak a few bites off of my husband's plate & their daily specials are equally delicious!nEverything on the menu is worth a try!nKeep up the good work!
We had Battered Mushrooms, Chicken Wings hot and Fish and Chips. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The fish was crispy and light, loved the thick cut chips. The wings easily came off the bones in the mouth. However, we visited during peak lunch time so it took time to be seated. Nevertheless will visit again in future.
Recommended to our group by a few people, we decided to check out Harrison Park Inn restaurant. Unfortunately we were tight on time so we didn't get to explore the campground, but staff at the restaurant were very nice. The food is simple: burgers, wraps, fries, etc. I ordered the Reuben which was pretty solid!
