A beautiful park right on the coast of the St Lawrence River in Brockville, Ontario.nHardy park is meticulously maintained.nThis park has a small play area with play structures and swings for the kids,nThere is a shelter with a roof for protection from the sun or rain, picnic tables, and washroom facilities.nThere are bocce courts here as well.nThere are trees, walking paths, and a boardwalk along the water. Benches all along the water provide a great place to relax and enjoy the view.nIf you feel like more activity, you can bring your canoe or kayak as there are boat launches on either side of the park. Back your small fishing boat into the water and fish offshore, or just cast your line off the boardwalk.nThere are festivals held here during the summer and it's a great place to take in the tall ships in June.
Beautiful place, but the tables the most of the time are dirty. And the other day a single attacked my husband in the head because we did share the food with them. Take care!°
Love this park! It’s right by the water and always has a calm, laid-back vibe. Great for walking the dog, reading a book, or just sitting on a bench watching the boats go by. It’s clean, well-kept, and one of my favorite places in Brockville to chill out.
The best reason the visit this park, is Don's Fish and Chips just down the road. The food is so good, this park nearby gets an automatic 5 star rating in perpetuity to the existence of Don's Fish and Chips. It has park stuff for parking around too, although I highly recommend the cod or haddock if you're going to go. You can walk your dog here too, around the park, and right over to Don's Fish and Chips as well.
Nice and clean park. Next to the waterfront. Just was a bit concerned seeing a lot of homeless people roaming around.
