Happy Joe's PIZZAGRILLE - Galena

The Galena happy Joe's has had a big remodel. Check it out if you haven't been there in a while. Game room moved to back. Full bar added in old gathering room. Pizza still great. Wait staff now serves your tables.

Update we are back 8,25,17. We played more games, ate more food.Food was extremely good. In the bar area after 8pm is half off appetizers. Prime rib enchiladas are a meal itself. Game room is the ticket winning kind. We won 41 tickets. Had a 10 ticket prize, we picked out 4 and the guy said here have 1 more. Very nice of him. Thank you.

Love this place!! Such good customer service and the food is actually awesome too! I also won free ice cream!!!! Please visit!

The service was not great, time from order taken to food on the table was good. The staff took a long time to come by after we arrived and our drinks took quite a while to come back. They were not very busy either. The cheese bread was awesome and would recommend that to anyone.

We stopped for ice cream at about 7:00 pm on 7/18/17. There were only two families in the restaurant and left minutes after we arrived. Otherwise the restaurant was empty. We waited for quite some time to be greeted by a server. All we wanted was dessert and a glass of water. Water was served promptly, with a straw already placed in the drink. I questioned if it was sitting for a while. No ice and the straw was bent like someone had been drinking it. The server said he'd be right back with our ice cream. We waited and we waited and we waited. I over heard from whom I thought was the manager on duty say to the server, I made the sundae but you'll have to finish the order. All she was doing was standing at the cash register. The server brought out the sundae and said he'll be right back with the root beer float. I took my first bite of the sundae and it was already melted (the consistency of a thin shake). I walked up with the sundae to the manager and told her the ice cream was melted. All she said was I'll get a new one out to you shortly. While we sat waiting, I noticed a young heavy set girl in the kitchen. It was obvious she was the one making pizzas. I believe she had her hair in a loose poney tail but ALL of her hair was hanging in front of her right shoulder. She was an absolute mess.
