We stayed here a few weekends back for our first trip to Tobemory. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The pool was great and the washrooms were always clean. Our campsite had lots of trees and was actually very private. The main checkin office has a mini store with anything you may need as well as some souvenirs. Have to add, there was a very loud group just down the road about 5 sites or so from us, who were up drunk and screaming at each other the whole night - the owners handled the whole situation with that group very well - don't be fooled by negative reviews. Would definitely book in to stay here again!
We arrived June 24/2022. This campground is absolutely gorgeous! A very quiet family oriented place. It was so nice seeing one of the owners out and about chatting with campers. The owners are so nice and very accommodating! A place I would highly recommend! The property is so beautifully maintained! Bill and myself enjoyed ourselves. Good job guys!
We were very lucky on our stay - friendly staff, amazingly quiet location, I highly recommend this park for a great camping trip. The cabin we stayed in was very small but it served its purpose well sleeping. The mini fridge was a plus in the room and we used it well. The fan in the cabin as well as the exhaust fan in the shower/bathroom were very dusty and seemed out of place since the place is really just so clean and tidy. I would come back here without a second thought
It's a basic private camp ground. My tent site was nice. My only complaint was that they close the washrooms for cleaning and then tell you to use the "mini putt" ones but dont tell you where that is. Great for those that know the layout of the place but I didn't. I had to go around asking strangers till someone knew.
Super friendly staff and owners, clean facilities, and an overall great experience over the Canada day weekend. The kids loved the camp store and the pool! Remember extra blankets as it can get cool here overnight.
Fantastic place to stay, great camp site with alot of things to do. The store has got almost all your supplies and memoirs, also the customer service is 6 stars! We will be back for sure!
Beautiful and very well kept campground. Owners are very nice and helpful and make you feel like you’ve known them your whole life. Washrooms are always clean too!
Laura did a great job with the park this year...she's super friendly. Though she was busy with reservations......she still found the time to get us firewood...ice and friendly conversation.....Dave was beautiful too...he came around daily to check to see if we needed anything....we're already booked in for next year...same time...my only complaint is the Big Lad never taught me how to ride his skateboard...that's why we're back next year...Drag races in the open field....thanks guys for the wonderful memories...my coffee tastes excellentenout of my Happy Hearts mug...till next year
We stayed here for 4 days and really enjoyed our stay. Location is just perfect and quiet. Owners and staff are really friendly and goes out of the way to make sure we get the best experience.
A nice camping site. Saw wild turkeys as soon as we pulled in. It rained the whole time we were there. We went site seeing and had a great weekend.
