Inspiration: Saturated, transparent colour and silver are the inspirations for my contemporary flameworked jewellery. I love the colour of the light that passes through transparent glass.
I use an oxygen and propane torch to melt the glass and wind it onto a mandrel. The beads are annealed in the kiln and the silver findings are forged at the workbench.
Success is when a visitor walks into the studio and says "Ah! This IS Happy Glass!"
