Happy Acres Resort

Was misinformed when making reservations. I was assured there would be a level sight that would accommodate at 40 ft motor home. When we got to the sight and set up, our first step was 2 foot from the ground. Upon leaving, to avoid hitting a tree, I had to swing wide and ended up in a ditch. This resulted in approximately $1700. in damages to the front of the motor home. We will not be returning.

I have no words to express how amazing the experience was. I will def come back next year, and hopefully for a longer period of time. Everyone in the area was so friendly, and my kids had lots of fun. The only problem was that noone could connect to the wifi! But hey thats why I went so far, so the kids got over it hahaha. Again thank you Happy Acres for the amazing time !!!!

This is a super camping ground for all ages. Built in pool, nice play area for children, state park within walking distance, many trails, walk to the Dam, nice beach, restaurant with weekend entertainment and paddle boats. The management is very friendly.

Stayed here 3 times in the past year and a half , also go to an island we own down the road. We stay here in the winter and have not had any issues, not to mention everyone is extremely helpful and they are friendly. It's a beautiful location and the cabins have always been clean and well stocked. The restaurant had great food for the one time we stopped by. The burger was nice and juicy while nachos for an appetizer were delicious as well. I like how the river runs down the side of the lot.
