Delicate Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Banff located in Salmon Arm. It is a rare found for such a wonderful Pho and Springs Roll inside the deep mountain areas. The owner spends a great deal of efforts making the dishes delicious and authentic. I'd say much better than many out there in the big cities. Highly recommended.
Well I can’t say enough about Michael and Jenny. Their personalities and passion for perfection are to be admired. I have had the opportunity to get to know them and it’s been a great experience. The food is absolutely amazing. I have had menu items and some “ experimental “ dishes Michael has came up with. Any true foodie or just people who appreciate fresh, healthy, thoughtful food will instantly see the step above they take. The care and attention that goes into each part of their business is showcased in the food and their sincerity seals the deal. I’m blessed to have met them and I know success is always with them. Thanks Michael and Jenny.
First of all, the young gentleman that serves for his family run business, is extremely friendly and went out of his way to interact in a fun way with my son- love it. I don’t usually find good pho places cause I’m picky, and been to Vietnam so I know good Vietnamese food when I taste it The owners are so nice and friendly, you can tell by the way they come out front to interact with their customers. Beautiful artwork on the walls will give you an authentic feel of this Asian cuisine. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience. So many wonderful choices on the menu. We had spring rolls, Pho and beef stir-fry. The portion were generous and very delicious. This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last. Thank you for the lovely service.
Absolutely bangin. Bulle tea was fire. Portions nd presentation were unmistakably ballin. Definitely better than Mr. Mike's. Photo is that I ate it.
I can't express enough how amazing Hanoi 36 is. I haven't eaten there alot but whenever I do I am beyond impressed with the amazing food and fantastic service. My favorite item on the menu is the mixed noodles as they are incredibly tasty and fresh. I also feel very welcomed by the staff along with the amazing owner Jenny. Finally, I love how the owners source their ingredients locally to help other local businesses.
Really enjoyed my experience here, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere delicious food! We had plenty of dishes off the menu and all were great, the freshness this place brings to their dishes is so inviting. Definitely a great place to eat! Good value! Try the sizzling beef, house garden roll or a delicious Vietnamese sandwich. They got phò also if your into soup.
Great atmosphere, great service, and good food delivered in a speedy manner even though the place was full. Just a matter of opinion, I had the Mama Yen special Beef Pho but preferred the chicken pho broth more as it had more of a punch. Cilantro on top of green onions is also a nice touch to the pho. There are definitely some excellent nuances in the Vietnamese dishes that makes this restaurant stand apart.

This opted for a take out same price as a sitting the sub was a mouth cutting experience, my salad roll were splitting and hard to grab a hold of. I gave it a 3 stars for letting me use the washrooms.
