Generally well stocked. Small enough supermarket to be easy to get around in. Pay attention to "sell by" dates on packaged fresh vegetables.

My go-to supermarket. Local to New England (started in Portland, ME), the chain has several features that make it stand out from other grocery stores in the area. - Guiding Stars: Hannaford developed a star system to rate the nutritional value of each item sold at its stores. - Hannaford works with local vendors and producers, and such items sold are labelled as 'We Love Local' for easy recognition. - All of the seafood sold at Hannaford is sustainably harvested. The aisles are easily negotiable, the racks are never empty, and staff are extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent choices of produce, beef, deli, sushi and an extensive wine selection. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bakery always has a huge supply of fresh bread, pastries and pies.

Not an easy ingress or egress, but food is always fresh and employees pleasant. I also like the variety of foods and vegan/ organic/ gluten free options available. Prices feel pretty comparable as well. This is my preferred location for grocery shopping.

I enjoy shopping at Hannaford I always find what I need at a very reasonable price. Checkout is quick the employees are attentive and polite
