I went to fix my Samsonite luggage suitcase. The suitcase was "perfectly" repaired. Before I decided to go to this store, I read all the comments and ratings. Here are some inputs I'd like to provide from my experience. 1 In terms of the repair, it is perfect and I cannot expect more than what I've got. They must have very skilled repair staff. 2 I feel price is fair and reasonable and I get good value from the service. They will provide quotes depending on repairs that need to be done. Some comments mentioned about price. I feel you cannot expect a discounted price considering parts and labour cost and the fact that prices of everything like grocery are increasing. The price was fair. 3 Staff are friendly and nice. 4 I happen to see a customer bringing a suitcase that is so badly torn apart that I personally think it should be put in the garbage bin . But the staff still explained very patiently and nicely. I feel sorry for them having to deal with such a situation as I do not feel the repair request was reasonable.
I would like to thank Handy luggage personnel at customer services division for their excellent support your customer care executive Annie took care of all my queries in seconds. She also provided timely and helpful advice regarding the brand of the luggage I was purchasing she let me know all the important information regarding the product including it’s features. Annie was extremely attentive and she listened to all my concerns with a great deal of patience. She has a caring approach and she is true professional Please accept my gratitude towards her and your customer care staff for their speedy and efficient service.
Went to 5 different repair places and no one could fix my Dueter backpack. I was then referred to Handy Luggage. Not only did they fix my backpack perfectly, the price was reasonable and turn around was quick. I recommend Handy Luggage to everyone for outdoor gear or luggage.
Tried calling many time with no answer. Drove over to find this business is no longer. Property is vacant. If anyone knows if they relocated i would appreciate it. Update. Lucky to find another business that could fix my carry on. The shoe repair in the Marlborough mall over behind the food court was able to help me and did a great job.
I’m writing this from the parking lot of this place. I dropped in to leave a bag for simple zipper repair and witnessed what appeared to be manager abusing two customers in a row. The first customer was a lady who they were already dealing with when I came in. I don’t know what the issue was but the manager was extremely aggressive and rude to her. The customer even remarked that she found her rude and demeaning. She tried to leave without getting whatever service she was there for but a much more professional employee assured the woman that they would take care of her. I didn’t see how that interaction started and I’m in customer service so I know how customers can be sometimes so I moved on and completed my transaction. While I was doing this this manager came out to deal with a very polite and reasonable man on a luggage replacement. He was asking her simple questions about the new bag vs the old bag. She took great offence to this and lectured him on how long she had worked there 10 years and how well she knew this bag. She was condescending and rude and barely let the poor man speak. Honestly I’ve never seen someone treated so badly who did absolutely nothing to deserve it. She even told him she shouldn’t have to deal with him when she hasn’t even had her lunch yet. I’ve used this business before with no trouble but I no longer trust the way they are managed. Lots of 5 star reviews when things go as planned but god forbid you ask reasonable questions. You usually can’t go wrong if you do business with good people. This lady who appeared to be the manager is not a good person. I can no longer recommend this business after what I saw today.
I brought in my old suit case to see if it was repairable. I had my doubts but you never know we discussed the damage and the fact I had no idea which airline cracked it in the first place and decided it was time to retire it and buy something new. I needed something that would be more durable as I fly regularly and transport breakable equipment. The staff were very informative and helpful. They listened to what I thought I needed and made suggestions that would suit those needs. They did not have what I decided on in stock but, were able to get it in within a couple if days. I checked the price they sold the luggage to me and it was less then I could have bought it on line. Very happy with my experience at Handy Luggage.
Best and only bag repair in the city. Had many bags serviced here over the years. Always done right. They can repair high end bags as well. Great and friendly staff. They only sell Briggs & Riley now. Offers great service and pricing on those if you're in need of a forever luggage or travel bag.
Brought some luggage here to be fixed after Air Canada damaged it. The employee wasn't super friendly but I appreciate their opinions about the luggage and that they must see an awful lot of terrible luggage coming through there. They sell what appear to be great quality luggage but I haven't bought any so I can't really weigh in on how good it is. I'd definitely bring my luggage back to be repaired in the future.
The gentleman that works there is awesome! Canada Air damaged my luggage but sent me to this location to have my luggage repaired or replaced. This took about 2 minutes and I have a new, better quality, and same color luggage. Highly recommend this place if you want to repair or buy a new one!
