One of the best hotels we have stayed at in a while! Very friendly staff. We called prior to arrival and he had everything ready for us at the front desk so check in was super quick. Everything was very clean and up to date including the room. Beds were super comfy and we all slept in longer than we originally intended. Good breakfast with all the expected offerings. Hotel is located in a nice area near all the amenities in town. Very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely stay again next time we pass through!
If you stay here get a room with a higher number, we were in 300, overlooking the freeway/exit. Higher number room equals further away from freeway and less road noise.nnNice hotel seemed to be recently updated, clean room, bed was comfortable. Had all the amenities you could want for an overnight stay.nnStaff was friendly and professional.nnSeveral restaurants in the area too.
This is a good hotel and I would recommend it with a few minor issues we experienced. As a location, it is right next to the interstate. Unfortunately our room faced the interstate which meant road noise all night. The other issue is that our toilet handle was partly broken, which without some effort after flushing you could end up with running water all night. Not a deal breaker, but annoying given the nightly rate.nnOther than those, there is sufficient parking, a lot to do nearby, and the other hotel areas were well maintained. We had one of the smallest rooms, but it seemed to have plenty of space and everything except the toilet was in good shape.
First of all, this pool is the cleanest I've ever seen. The front desk receptionist for evenings/over nights is an angel. She's been so kind. No bugs, clean room. I'm impressed!!!!
We stayed here for it's proximity to Starved Rock state park. First day we hiked in the rain, came back with wet gear. The guest dryer was in use, so the manager Mary dried our coats in the hotel laundry! Made it possible for us to continue hiking once the rain stopped.nThe staff was very accommodating, breakfast was good, everything very clean. Highly recommend!
