Story

Hampden County Hypnosis is a hypnotic practice serving the Southwick, MA area. Hypnotic or suggestive therapy has been used as a healing technique since the beginning of history. References to it can be found in the Bible. It was of prime importance in the "sleep temples" of Ancient Greece, which were places of pilgrimage and healing.

Based out of Southwick, we work with clients all throughout the Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut areas. Our practice specializes in hypnosis for weight control, smoking cessation, stress management, overcoming fears, gaining confidence, anxiety management, procrastination management, improved athletic performance, improved grades, and much more. Working with Dave at Hampden Country Hypnosis has been amazing. My mom and I started our journey last year together and Dave has made it possible for us to achieve our goals. I loved David's approach to weight loss hypnosis! Incredibly effective and easy. David is a personable and skilled clinician so I felt comfortable and safe at all times. I did 3 sessions initially and loved it so much that I signed on for the 7 session package. I lost more than my goal weight and have now kept it off. Bonus was that I listen to an hypnotic CD nightly and sleep better than I have in years! It's been over a year and I still listen to the conscious CDs in my car and the hypnotic ones every night. David treats the whole person. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his technique. You really have to sign on with him! Jane

Dave's style of hypnosis therapy is really positive and encouraging for people that truly ant to make positive changes in their lives.  While I attended weight loss specific classes, what I learned while attending far exceeded my expectations.  I did lose weight, but more importantly I was given great information and ways of thinking that I can use in all aspects of my life.  I highly recommend!

If you've been considering hypnosis to help you lose weight, go for it! After each of the three group sessions I attended, I left with a peace and belief in myself that pretty much amazed me. The program is rooted in positive thinking and positive actions. Removing the "can't have that food" part of the weight loss equation has made this easier than ever I would have expected. I'm eating three healthy meals a day; not snacking; have no cravings; am exercising; and I'm seeing results. David Castonguay is my new hero!! Thank you, David.

Dave is such a great guy to work with. He takes everything on with such a positive outlook that it's hard for it not to rub off on you a bit! If you are looking to make some changes in your life, I would recommend reaching out.
