Story

The Credit Union is a part of the largest financial network in Canada offering a full range of financial services. The array of services offered by Chartered banks, Trust Companies or any other financial institution, are available through your credit union. These services are delivered in a professional, confidential and personable manner to provide you with quality products and services that will meet or exceed your needs.

The Credit Union is operated by Management appointed by the Board of Directors elected by the customer/owners.

The Hamilton Sound Credit Union was first opened in Carmanville in June 1991 with 2 Employees. Since that time we now employ 20 dedicated professionals, spanning 4 branches. These branches are located in Carmanville, Fogo Island,Triton and Gander.

The Credit Union has grown tremendously since 1991, now boasting 3200 customer/owners.
