Great library with friendly staff but they can be a little loud with their conversations if you are trying to work at the tables near the front desk. Not sure if noise can be controlled but I would rather have white noise than hearing conversations.nnSpacious and pretty place with lots of resources. Wish there was more table space for the busier hours, but really appreciate nighttime study halls. Go-to library for students!
As much as I love the location, friendly staff and quiet study rooms I won’t be back. I’ve been twice for the after hours to focus on school work in the quiet study rooms till midnight which was great. After today arriving at 4pm and only lasting 1 hour and no work done due to all the noise, loud staff conversations, loud old people or kids playing distracting videos it was too much and it’s more of a cafe than a library at that point…. Out of three study rooms for work to be done one was occupied by an elder lady with a walker who was just using the room to sit in which I don’t think should be acceptable when it’s a quiet space for someone to do work, this really bothered me but the worker told me pretty much I’d have to wait for her to leave which wasn’t gonna be soon. I’d like to have a quiet space during the day to go to and sadly this won’t be a spot for me anymore.
We really enjoyed our time here today. We took a 4 year old and a 2.5 year old to the imagination station. These are 10-12 every Saturday and they are completely free.nThey have stations of Legos and other building toys, origami stations and a big supply of all different and creative toys for kids.nThe librarians were very helpful and I would highly recommend taking your kids there on a rainy Saturday morning :
Staff are very helpful and courteous. The space for children on the lower level is engaging, and the staff person there has been very helpful suggesting new titles based on prior reading experience. The magazine and seating areas are nicely spaced out and quiet.
I cannot express my gratitude to the staff at this library. I came to this location to get something printed and was having some trouble, but the kind woman working the front desks was so helpful. She went above and beyond to get our documents printed. I never knew a visit to the library could be so pleasant.
