Hamilton Police Service Headquarters

I wanted to give 0 but 1 is the lowest. I wanted to share an experience about Hamilton Police. I was driving through a grocery store parking lot on Hamilton mountain. There was a couple walking down the middle of the driveway making it impossible for anyone to get by. After following them for a couple of minutes I lightly honked my horn and indicated to move to either the right or left to enable vehicles to get by. SHARE is a foreign concept these days. I park my car and as I am getting out of my car the women is at the back of my car , taking a picture of my license, I asked what she was doing and she flashes her police badge. I proceed to ask her what I did wrong and she dosen't answer. THIS CLEARLY IS A SITUATION OF ABUSE OF POWER AND TRYING TO INTIMIDATE ME. I am sure there are many great police offices but it only takes one!

Very disappointed I took my car to mechanic so he can fix it. Mechanic told me I need a battery and starter for my car to run . So I bought the battery and according to mechanic he charged the starter but the car is still in same condition no start. And mechanic was asking for money and labor. I call the police and explain the situation. They told me to go to court for and fight it they can't do anything about it .the dispatch was talking to me how they had problem with her air conditioning guy I asked police for me to go to court can you please write a report they said no

I just called to report a male having a mental breakdown in the parking lot of the no frills at main and Tisdale parking lot. This was the most rude and unsympathetic dispatcher I have ever come across. I was trying to explain the situation she kept cutting me off asking me to explain and if she would have stop interrupting me and listen she would have been informed of the situation and when I asked if she could here him cause he was right next to me screaming and crying this rude dispater told me " I have heard enough over the years I do not need to here him!" I told her to go f herself and she was rude . Is this how you treat the mentally ill. Disgusted hope she gets fired if your tired of your job quit definitely do not work with the public!!! Or the mentally ill. So sad to see how police treat theentally ill no wonder thet do not trust them!

Amazing service via phone. It's incredibly frustrating with covid times but the folks at Hamilton Police were very hospitable. Chris with badge number 125415, was very attentive to all my questions and very helpful and understanding. Thank you Chris once again.

The Hamilton downtown police are some of the worst police officers I have ever encountered in my life. I have been to BC and back, and the Hamilton PD, has the least amount of respect for our supreme courts, laws, and democracy, out of any of the policing branches I have come into contact with. To act this savagely upon the poorest of brothers, is unforgivable. The police in this city are beyond corrupt, they do not care about freedom of speech, they do not care about art and culture, they only care about making money and helping the wealthier party resolve an issue regardless of who is right or wrong. I would be ashamed if I worked for the Hamilton PD.

They should learn to give info on ppl when asked cause said person odviously are important ppl and they can’t do their job in the first place to keep the drama away from any city. They need to do their job

The officers treated me amazing, super friendly and caring to the fact I was freaking out, I won’t be back

I called yesterday to report a theft from my business, After 1 minute of details, the officer dismissed me told me I was providing to much information for her to write down because it was the end of the day and she was busy. Not professional, not helpful, rude.

Officer answered questioned but I guess she could do better because I didn’t know what will be next thing to do. I am not complaining but when innocent person not criminal comes to police station, they except great hospitality as police is ideals. The person who helped me was not very friendly and she gave all answers in yes and no only. Thanks

Been in a couple times because I need a police check basic check, 1 for where I'm living and once for a job I had Employees were nice enough, police check came quick, think almost 2 weeks for the 1st one and about a week to receive the second
