my 5yr old daughter goes here and i think she likes it. i certainly do with the wooden materials and beautiful campus. Though this is a private school that incurs fees, and though it isn't necassirly better than the public system, it does provide a different methodology. it would be nice if she does well in this school as continuity is important for young children. my 5yr old has a younger sister who may attend the school

When we were looking for better education options for our kids I felt so much at home from the moment I walked in the door. The school has a playground that is based around nature without pavement or concrete in sight. The classrooms are warm and cozy. The smell of wood from the woodshop, the art on display, the emphasis on a holistic education led us to enroll our kids. After a year they have never been happier,

We were initially in a high-pressure, stressful public school and my kids weren't thriving (grades 1 to 3). Now they love going to school, they want to arrive early, they study enthusiastically and they do their homework because they want to, not because we're telling them to do it. It's fantastic.

I love this school! Both of my children attended until grade 8. My daughter is now in grade 12 and my son is finishing grade 8. They both love school, love their teachers and are enthusiastic about learning. Furthermore, they both ask critical questions about education and life; neither are 'shrinking violets'. I feel blessed to have met such a friendly community of teachers, admin staff and parents. The Halton Waldorf School is a strong community.

My two kids attended HWS from kindergarten to Grade 8 and then went to a local catholic high school. Both of them are now excelling at high school and University. They had no problem transitioning to high school and both had top marks--in fact their teachers and even their friends are impressed with the depth of focus and beauty they bring to assignments. (their friends say they wish they could have attended Waldorf School :-) ) ~Best investment we could have made ( It was not always easy to manage this side of things, but we are so glad we did)
