Not the best service but the food of Hakka Legend is always good. The Sweet and Sour Manchurian chicken is their best dish. Location is nice but a bit small. The staff takes their time to bring water, extra napkins, etc and you may have to ask twice for any requests.
Decent food, fast & friendly service. Ate here with my family at their Ajax location. The portion sizes were appropriate not loaded but not too small either, the food was decent fresh, well seasoned and made to order; hot, and the service was good! Only complaint is that they make you buy white rice separately/ for an extra charge. Most other Hakka Chinese restaurants I have been too, white rice comes included with a main dish. I would still recommend them, worth a try!
The food here is unbelievably great and the staff are super nice! They asked us about our preferences of spicy vs. mild and savoury vs. sweet and catered to them. So good!
It was good experience. 1st time we dine in. Interior was representing many different countries. Menu has many options. Service was good as well. They add service charge on top of HST that I didn’t like.
Hakka legend is one of my favourite Hakka spots to go to. I really enjoy the chicken pakoras as a starter. The Chili chicken and Bombay chicken are my go-to dishes. I eat here quite regularly
we ordered chilly chicken and spicy garlic chicken, they gave us same thing in two different packing. You cannot differentiate the taste, very disappointing, it looks like they have same base for all chicken dishes. Look at pictures and tell me if there is any difference.
Ordered Chilli chicken and hakka noodles through Uber. Such a waste of money. The quantity was good for the price and decorated well too. BUT THE TASTE WAS ZERO. No taste at all. It looked like they boiled the noodles and added some amount of salt and oil, with no spices at all. Same for Chilli chicken, no taste, too oily. Usually I love Hakka Legend and visited it’s location in Markham many times with friends. This is the first time I ordered from Ajax location and it will be my last time. The management should take strict action against the cooks. We want better service please and we deserve it.
We have been coming to this place for years and its always a beautiful experience whether we take out or dine in. I am a picky vegetarian and this is my fav place to eat chinese food. For veggie people try their manchurian soup/bollywood style paneer sizzler/vegetarian hakka noodle .My husband & his family eats meat and they regularly order chilly chikn/prawn/egg fried rice and deep fried fish. Love their flavours in the food it just amazes my taste buds and I come back again n again to this place. Also they are following all government protocols for dine in and keeping place clean so thank you guys for keeping us safe. The staff is so helpful and polite
