Ha's Dim Sum Noodle House

This Dim Sum House is really good. Small compared to others we have been to, but very cozy and gives off a warm feeling from the staff. Sorry, didn’t take pictures of the food when it came out, but am providing some from the food after we ate it. If you are looking for a Dim Sum and other Chinese food, put this on your place to go.

A huge thank you to the staff, particularly the chefs. We will definitely be back. Coriander shrimp dumplings,bean curd with Chinese mushrooms, shrimp and egg sauce fried noodles is to die for! Customer service is warm. Food is flavourful . Ha’s dim sum noodle house is a perfect spot when you have a craving for Chinese-Canadian comfort food. The staff is always trying their best to keep things flowing well. You will enjoy a delicious meal at this place.

Went there on a Monday for brunch. The place was largely empty. Service was prompt and attentive. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try. The dumplings were delicious. Shrimp as well as shrimp + chives. Sticky rice is one of my favorite dishes but I would remiss if I did not day this one was a miss for me. Not sure if it needed to sit. It was a little more runny than I'm used to. Greens were absolutely delicious as was the tea. The food was very good value wise. I was very surprised when the bill came. For me , things were a little bit overspiced / over sauced and something was lacking for me tastewise with a some of the dishes. I think this is a very authentic Chinese Establishment and my Western pallette may not be fully accustomed to some of the flavours. All in all highly recommend and will definitely return. Had an amazing experience on the first visit!!! Fried Eggplants is a must try!! Some may find it a bit oily but it’s deep fried, so it will be oily; but taste is 5/5. If I visit again and order only one item definitely this will be the one!! Crispy beef with ginger garlic sauce, this was also delicious. Dumpling dim sum prawn with coriander was amazing!! Very delicious. Fried rice are generally has a basic taste but here!! I was amazed, it’s very flavourful! Overall it’s a very good and cozy place to have delicious food. Yes I do agree price is on the higher side but once a month for such delicious meals we can visit for sure.

Came here for an early dinner on Sunday, the food was amazing! The shrimp dumplings har gow and shrimp rice rolls were fresh and steamed perfectly. The xiaolong bao were delicious and juicy, but for dim sum connoisseurs the dough may be a bit thick and not soup-y enough personally I was just glad to find them in Ottawa!. The team is small but service was friendly and efficient despite numerous takeout orders to juggle. There was a mistake with my order and it was rectified quickly after some explanation. I also appreciate the attentiveness of the staff as I had dropped my chopsticks and was offered a replacement a few minutes later without me asking yet.

We craved for dimsum and came by randomly without any expectation. But everything turned out awesome! Various options with photos easier to know which one is which. Portion was bigger than any dimsum spots - we usually order 10 for 2 people yes we are 2 fat squirrels but at Ha’s, we were only able to finish half of it. Ingredients were fresh and ratio meat-flour was more meat. We could taste the flavour of beef, pork, shrimp, or veggies clearly. Service was great and attentive.

I really love our Sunday Dim Sum tradition and this place was delicious. Family restaurant, not a lot of tables but very quick and delicious food. We will definitely come here again.

My partner and I went for a quick supper, we got take-out and ate at the park. The staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere was second to none, and the food was very good and satisfying. The hot sauce served with the dumplings was delicious. We each got an order of pan-fried noodles and then pork and chive dumplings to share. It is a 10/10.

Ngl this is a good restaurant with the reasonable price and food quantity, 2 ppl 60 bucks all included, we had dim sum only and really had a good time. Service is nice too is worth. If there is next time I will try some other stuff.

I haven't had good dim sum like this for about 10 years and it was in Toronto. THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! Great service, fast, fresh, authentic, lots of variety and great prices.
