Excellent hotel - wonderful rooms and the restaurant downstairs had wonderful service. We had a five course meal included - it was an interesting culinary and mostly delicious. My only constructive feedback is where the room was located - it’s a long walk back to reception / hotels each time - and you have to go through a construction site because of renovations. Our trip to the museum wasn’t much fun as we were pushed around by a big touring group - they literally pushed into me breaking my audio head phones! Anyway overall the bed place we stayed in Quebec.
We have stayed here twice now and it's our preferred hotel when traveling to Quebec City. While outside of city proper, it does not take long to get downtown, and the distance makes it much easier to bring our dog-selective husky along with us. The hotel staff are always so helpful, allowing me to fumble through my French and still understanding what I need. The food is divine and the breakfast package was well worth it. The museum and indigenous-centered decor and menu keep nature front of mind in this beautiful space. Our dog always enjoys this place, as it has on-campus trails and is also right next to a long bike path. I will recommend a Deluxe room if you're bringing a dog larger than a terrier or bulldog size -- we recently stayed in a Comfort room and while his crate fit it was more snug than in the Deluxe room we had last time.nnTLDR: This hotel is our go-to and is well worth the extra cost to get the Deluxe room with a larger dog and the breakfast package always. We're already planning our next visit!!
I wish I could give 5 stars, but alas, the experience we had was very disappointing. The hotel is beautiful, but it doesn’t make up for the basics. The real killer was the lack of soundproofing in the building. We were kept awake to 1am by neighbours who were partying in the room next door. Then, we were woken up at 7am by people running around in the hallways or at least it sounded like that! If you’re looking for peace and calm, this place really did not do it. We even switched rooms upon recommendation from front desk, but then they put us right next to the elevator and where people pass by and make noise frequently. I do love the concept of the hotel but the execution really was subpar, especially for this price point, sorry to be realistic about this.
Really not that great. I came across this hotel from tiktok, where it looked like a unique luxurious vibe hotel with an interesting history.nnHonestly the whole stay was disappointing. They don’t explain anything about the history or activities when you check in, and to do any of the learning or activities you have to pay $$. The hotel looks better in photos and in real life it’s quite dated maybe 2010?. There was nothing really cool or special, and the location is pretty out of the way. The part that was really annoying is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, especially children running around.nnAlso the toilet was broken and needed to be flushed multiple times, and cleanliness was alright but not great.nnOverall it was pretty meh, and I don’t think I would recommend.
Vacation full of well enjoyed time and memories which will never be forgotten. Our story teller Dominic was professional and wonderful person to see , hear and listen. Our front desk attendant Alicia was friendly and helpful. Room attendant was nice and friendly. Entire stay was full of joy and filled with positive energy true every day. Lovely hotel and place to come see and visit on your next vacation to celebrate your time off
