Do not stay here - place cannot be trusted !!! We had the same experiences as others posted here. Online and by phone, we were offered a rates of $134 and $129 for our stay the next night. When I made a reservation by phone, I accepted the phone rate of $129 plus $20 pet fee. On arrival, paperwork offered same rate $129 plus $20 pet fee. After I signed it, someone with more authority than front desk person told her the rate was wrong and insisted it be $149 plus $20 pet fee. Having just driven from PEI, I was in no mood to argue it so instead called today. Person representing themselves as the motel manager doubt it was not that it was someone different than I dealt with earlier. He was quite rude, refusing to answer any of my questions like his name and would only say what he wanted to explain as motel policy. When I told him if that’s all he’ll tell me, we might as well end the call. He then hung upon me !!!! I also endorse comments that there is zero sound insulation between the rooms. PS: The front desk person who got over ruled by the above person was on second shift and was a pleasure to deal with. I sure hope the so-called manager did not take it out on her as she was only doing what the online reservation provided her !!! Nothing much worse than not being able to trust an organization. I’m done with Travelodge as when I called “head office” they would only say each location is individually owned and free to make their own policies. One more thing, their cancellation policy is 48 hours prior. When making a reservation the night before, that doesn’t work at all !

The worst customer service i have ever dealt with. The manager is such a greedy disgusting money-grabbing b**. Wants to continue to slap us with hidden fees! Refused to honour corporate discount price. So extreme rude and did not want to accommodate us. Knowing she was going to lose on $900 total. Asian manager did not even want to honour their deal on the website of having “free infant cribs” and wanted to charge us extra even though it was advertised on website while booking. Horrible service. Save your hassle and go elsewhere

Out of the way to get to Montreal, but a good & affordable place to stop on a long road trip. Looks much better now after the renovations. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is simple. Nice place to rest for a short while. Would return if I pass by again.Rooms: 5/5

The rooms and the breakfast provided are good quality but please book in advance. We didn’t previously and reached at 1:30am and told the manager/owner, will check out by 9 am. Initially they told us by phone it was $149 plus tax but when we reached, we were charged more than $210.

It was one the worst hotel that I have ever been in my life, No one welcome you properly or guid you to the room , no one carries your baggage , there is no elavator available , you have to carry your own baggages through the stairs,there is no room service, breakfast was so bad ,you have to pour your coffee in a plastic cup, there is no bottle of water inside the room , you have to go buy it from the Machine downstairs, nothing in the fridge , there was no sign card for you to hang on the door to ask for room service. They do pre_ authorization on your credit card for almost $360 just in case if you broke something in the room... and the worst part is there is No Uber access to this place and you have to pay for taxi which is very expensive comparing to Uber.. And last not least no body answers you when you say Good morning or Hi to them in the morning. I have done that several times to make sure I am not wrong and each time the person just looking to my eyes without any response....

Barf! Opened the door to our room and was hit by a WALL of air freshener stench. Searched the room and found one, two, THREE! What are they covering up??? Room was clean, but what’s with the air fresheners? It was actually hard to breathe inside the room. Expensive too. Take your business elsewhere if you can

We always stay at this location every year we come to Montreal. The new owners did a BANG UP JOB on renovating the entire hotel from the previous owners. It's more modern looking now. However, shower stalls are the same and whoever contractor did the renovation did not install insulation on the water pipes in the washrooms or in the walls. When people next door were using the bathroom it's as if you were in the bathroom with them yourself. There is absolutely no noise reduction or cancellation in any way shape or form. The shower noise WILL WAKE YOU UP. This time I did not enjoy my stay at all just because of that. I hope you all enjoy your stay though.

The whole room was very moist from no circulation in the washroom and there was a plug in scent that reaked…probably covering up another smell. Luckily we were just there to stop over for the night but would not stay there again.Rooms: 1/5

COCKROACH ALERT! Friend stayed there last night and saw a roach in his room! Was also able to take a picture of it! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!Rooms: 1/5
