Horrible service! I had to drive to their office 4 times to get my taxes done. They kept telling me wrong information. Especially bad service by Jennifer the receptionist, and Dave Unger. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

These people do not have a clue and do not treat women with respect. I work hard and long days so my wife, having more time, went to do our taxes and had an awful experience. Here are our stats, we have dual income no kids and make a combined income of 76k. we pay approximately 360 bi weekly in Federal Income Tax. This office told her we still owe $4,800 and then charged us $330 for the service. When my wife tried to question it they treated her like she didn't understand. We've previously had good experiences at other H&R Block offices but we will certainly NEVER go here again.

Last year I was employed as a civilian in Afghanistan. This was my first time being in a war-zone as a civilian and not the military. Do to a change in government contract "possible effects of the sequester", I was sent back state side prior to qualifying for tax-exampt status. I called H&R block, on Offutt Air Force Base, and requested an audience with someone familiar with ex-pats. The lady I met with there was familiar with ex-pats, but because I was sent back to the U.S. early, she was unfamiliar with how to file my taxes. She was honest, confident and considerate. She knew of another H&R employe that claimed to have more experience with ex-pats. She helped me schedule a meeting with him at the 1309 Harlan drive H&R block. We purposefully scheduled the meeting for a time two weeks later, in order for the IRS to release the declaration of war zones. Three weeks went by, "he called in sick on the week we were supposed to meet". I met with Him and it seemed he didn't read the notes that had been provided for him, he didn't express any intelligence on ex-pats and he wanted to go ahead and do my taxes anyway. I asked him if the IRS had declared war zones yet, he wasn't sure. I asked him if he was familiar with ex-pats, he didn't sound confident in his yes. I'm a single guy, no kids, and this guy was about to give a huge chunk of my money to the government. I immediately told him thank you, and left his office. If you're going to use H&R, I suggest going to Offutt. Otherwise, I suggest using a different company.

We had our taxes done at H and R block and spent almost 600 dollars because we had to do them seperatly. I had lost my tax return and my husband need a copy of mine so we called the H and R block in Bellevue Ne and they told us directions to get there and said there would be no charge for a copy of 2010 tax year, but 15 for any years prior. We only needed a copy of 2010 so it should have been for free. No when we get there we are charged 20 dollars and we argued that we where told it was free and they were very rude saying that was not true. After paying almost 600 dollars to prepare our taxes and for them to push a couple bottoms and print my taxes they charged us. I will never use H and R block again, funny thing is I was warned not to use them that they charged a fortune well I learned my lesson.
