We were a larger group, but we felt the common area was a little on the smaller side, visiting this time of year we recommend that you bring warm clothes to wear during your stay,  the bedrooms/bathrooms clean and tidy and breakfast was delicious and served on time. We did feel a slight intrusion when sitting in the common area, but understanding that we were sitting in the set up area for breakfast. The inn keeper was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house and area which was a plus if you are coming in to visit and shop the Blissfield area. I do recommend that breakfast not be removed till the guests have all left or set a sign that states breakfast only available during these hours.

Reasonable rates. Very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area and the homes history. Tasty breakfast. Close to dinner train and downtown. Hathaway house right across the street as well.

This is the best not-my-bed-at-home place I have ever slept. Homey, comfortable, beautiful. Breakfast has been delicious. And the conversation with the innkeepers has been delightful.
