Guthrie Vestal

I wouldn't recommend this facility if you were ailing in anyway chronic or short term. The staff is completely incompetent and very rude. They do not discuss facility policies with you. They do not provide follow up reminders and schedule you for appointments without your knowledge. The staff is truly the issue with this office. Every time you call, show up for an appointment or enter the walk in everyone of the front office staff seems as if they are 'busy' and you are 'bothering them.' Apparently chain of cam and does not exist in this facility either. When you call to file a complaint or speak with a supervisor, they 'supposedly' do not have anyone you can speak with other than the 'front office staff (which isn't much staff and are very uneducated.) I called to ask a few questions in regards to a letter I had received and was demeaned by THE receptionist. Since I was know longer apart of their practice she assumed she could speak to me in such a degrading way. She continuely cut me off when I was asking questions or explaining things. Then stated, 'I will not cut her off and talk to her like that.' Then proceeded to hang up the phone. Very unprofessional staff from receptionist right down to the doctors. Horrible staff and facility. Prepare yourself to complain the Guthrie Ombudsman or Patient Advocacy if you do make this decision. There are laws on patient abandonment and continuity of care which they do not uphold to or follow!

Absolutely THE WORST doctor's office in all of Vestal. My Mom was down with the flu for 3 days straight then went to this practice to get some tamiflu and they refused to give her any until lab work results could come in. They then took their sweet ass time with the lab work and only got back to my mother before they closed the following day after. To top it all off, they got the perscription for tamiflu wrong and thus the pharmacist refused to fill it for my mother. My mother then had to go to the emergency room to get emergency medical treatment (aka the tamiflu she desperately needed). THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. DO NOT GET A PCP HERE. YOUR BETTER OFF AT U.H.S ON THE VESTAL PARKWAY!

Waited for 2 hours only to discover Dr. Choi is a joke. Judgemental and the furthest from a doctor. Don't go if you have ever in 5 years been prescribed a narcotic, they assume you are there for that.

I was seen by one of their NP's and was told nothing was wrong with me. This provider would not evn listen to my symptoms. I went to Lordes the very next day about to faint and I was diagnose with Pneumonia !! Don't try to ask the front office any questions, they will ignore you and yreat you like scum. The back office team are very rude and act like they don't have the time of day for you. They treat people like robots. Their service is as though they are at some volunteer job and do not want to give service. They are unkind and not professional.
