Gus Tacos

The best tacos I've had since a visit to Mexico. Authentic, tasty and very filling. I ordered five different types and they were all delicious. I especially loved the fish tacos. They don't scrimp on the meat or fillings. The atmosphere looks like a typical Mexican canteen. Simple and no frills but you can eat in if you choose. I'll definitely be back for these delicious tacos! Vegetarian options: - Mushroom filling - Avocados and cheese filling Parking: Parking lot with a few spaces off a residential street, but if it's filled, you can park on the street for free and grab a bite to eat.

Although parking is a pain…that shouldn’t stop you. By far the most authentic, delicious, and easily a crave-able spot. The fish tacos are a must have and the beef burrito. Please have it with the medium sauce on the sauce. The menu is simple and the food is just as pleasing. Definitely a go to spot from now on, I don’t think I even want to attempt at making Mexican food anymore… Vegetarian options: They have a mushroom option that you can substitute your meat with. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is spacious. They welcome everyone. Simple atmosphere. Parking: It’s very tight and hidden in the back of the building. Otherwise, you’ll find a way one way or another.

First time trying Gus’ Tacos - I have been meaning to go for a while now. Very good tasting tacos. I had the following: 1-Beef 1-Lamb 1-Pastor 1-Chicken Each was was delicious, and their hot sauce complimented the flavours with a nice kick. Looking forward to my second visit. So good Maybe offer combos? And drop the pop to $1.50 Thanks.

Great spot for Burritos. The place is clean and looks well kept. I had a Pork burrito and a Adobo pork burrito. I also got the lamb broth for dipping. The food was great! Their hot sauce was a good spice level too. I found the adobo pork to be a bit sweet for my liking. Next time I hope to try the beef or lamb.

Simple , not greasy tacos . Very good taste . Will be my go to spot for tacos in Scarborough.

I don’t understand the hype. Got 2 beef and one pork adobo. They didn’t ask what I wanted on it, just said it comes with cilantro and onions so I said no problem. Tacos were dry, came with no sauce besides the salsa on the side. The tortillas need to be grilled longer because they were doughy. There was nothing on the tortilla to cut through the richness of the beef so all you got was the flavour of beef fat. The fat also soaked the tortilla and it ripped open and flopped apart as I ate it. The pork was good, pineapple was a nice touch. $18 for 3 tacos that are eaten in 3-4 bites, there are much better options.

The beef Torta for the win!! Very happy they finally decided to open this franchise up in the east end! Bye bye Pizza Pizza, Gus Tacos are here to stay!

Stopped here on a whim and glad that I did. Had a chicken quesadilla - amazing!!! Service was friendly and fast. This stop will be on repeat! Spotlessly clean.Food: 5/5

Went here today, and it seems their internet was down when we walked in which caused a longer than normal wait. Honestly though, it was worth the lengthy wait for the tortas and tacos we ordered. I am so excited to finally have a good taco spot in Scarborough. Staff were super friendly even during the lunch rush and the stressful internet situation. Will definitely be back.

Authentic and fresh tacos with the best hot sauce. but if you can’t handle heat do not try.
