Guru's Classic Indian & Chinese Cuisine

Guru's Fine Indian Cuisine and Hakka, located at the Heartland area of mississauga Latimer Dr.. I have been coming to this place for a while now and I love it. I'm no expert when it comes to Indian Cuisine, but I love a good priced meal that does not hurt the budget. I come to Guru's during lunch for their buffet which is $13. The place is very nice and maybe kinda romantic at night I think. Place is clean and the wash room is the cleanest I've ever seen in places I have eaten. They can be proud of this. The food is great in my liking, but a bit inconsistent to one particular dish. The hot n soup is either hot n sour or hell n sour. The rest that I eat which not a lot, I love it. They don't make large batch which is their way of saving, makes the dishes that runs fast fresher all the time. A fresh Naan is just heavenly paired with butter chicken and I'm set. Garlic fish, stir fry vegetables, and more. But comments from some of my indian friends and family is not as enthusiastic as mine. Their words are "there are better one's " so I would say if you are up to it. Give it a try and let me know. Over all, with an average to good service, food that I like and a very affordable price. Pros: Good food Cons: SERVICE is horrendous Food takes forever Super rude servers and no manners at all. This place always had great food. The service has been getting worse and worse. Servers do not come to the table unless called for. Food took forever to come and everything was brought one by one and some dishes ended up being cold. This despite the restaurant being empty besides us and another two couples.

visited there last week with my family and friends.. really enjoyed the Halal Food and atmosphere. We got there around 9:15 on Sunday night and they accommodated us 10 ppl happily, in fact by the time we finished our meal it was already quarter past 10 and they usually close at 10 pm. staff didn't show any urgency for us to leave. menu is pricey but for sure have some taste. I liked their attitude and food both. will definitely visit them again. This is best Halal Restaurant in Mississauga Must visit..

Good food - pricey. Good quantity for biriyani. Prices need to be more competitive. Sometimes they want to clean up too fast before we can relish the last bit.

This place is amazing. Venue is high-end, food is great quality and the staff are sooo friendly!

This restaurant is now called Naimat Kada. Very nice decor and friendly staff and services! Clean setup and delicious food. Went to an event and they were very accommodating. Definitely recommend this!

A great place to dine in. We went there for an anniversary dinner as a table of 15 and everything was outstanding. Our server, Kiran was so sweet and accommodating. She helped us throughout the dinner with a bright smile on her face. The food was pretty good too. I think they can improve on portion size and presentation a little bit. But overall it was a good experience.

Very disappointed with the service. It absolutely sucks!!! Had to ask different waiters to top up our glasses with water at least 3 times. No body checked on us while we were having our dinner. We got charged for an onion salad when it is not even listed on the menu as an item. A 15% gratuity was also automatically applied to my bill even though it is not stated anywhere on the menu or otherwise. I can understand if we were a large party, but we were a table of 4.... Guru has definitely lost a customer. Not going back there again!

What a find! My coworker a Mauritian guy took me there for lunch one day. He's a great cook and I consider him an authority on good Indian food. He did not disappoint with this pick. Quiet, small and unassuming, you would never guess that they have some of the most DELICIOUS buffets around. Comparable to The Flame, but more affordable. Their food is divine. No one will rush you either and you can really chill and take your time. It is also very clean. PS: They have boneless goat curry.

Worst Experience, took a takeaway and found it burnt with black burnt particles visible and tastes like its burnt. When called back for replacement, Managers behavior was pathetic and when reached in person for return I was refused on return of money. In our earlier ,dine-in on a week-day afternoon, when the restaurant is not at all busy, we where kept idle for around 20 mins to get our order which was Lunch Combo as there normal offering. After 15 mins, the waiter comes-in and informs there is no lunch combo served and I have recently joined this restaurant, can I get you a la carte with your selected combination in the combo. After placing another order, it took another 20 mins and we were charged for additional items, which we had to get corrected with the manager, his behavior was rude. Do not waste your money, energy and time. Get a Value for Money In other authentic restaurants. Owner keeps changing Chef and staff, seems nobody is happy with the restaurant management. Rude Management, no sense of hospitality.
