Makerspace is great! The employee was patient in helping my kids use the 3D printers and button maker. Laser cutter, Cricut, video game room and recording room also available, but I haven't used them yet. The kids book area is tidy and inviting.

It's a decent size library with a good variety of books. The library even healds different programs.
I go there more so for my kids than myself. Lovely setup for the kids section and great collection of books! Also, the staff is very welcoming and helpful.
It’s a nice library but the employees of this library are always loud and laughing.
When checking out, the librarian engaged my granddaughter with suggestions of further books to read of the same genre. Now my grand daughter wants to return after she has read her books. Fantastic!!
This library is good. The staff are excellent and there's a good selection of books. We started visiting this library every Wednesday evening starting a few weeks ago and I have to say that this is the most noisy library we have ever been to! The kids section is too open and the noise can be heard from all over the library. It doesn't matter where you sit. My girls and I want to go to the library to find a good book and have some quiet time. It's impossible when kids are screaming, playing and running all over. Even my kids who are 9 and 11 don't appreciate it. We are going to try out other libraries in the city to try and find that quiet space we are looking for.
This is another one of my favourite libraries in Guelph due to its wonderful staff, the spaciousness of the library, the amazing selections of books, the delightful children's play area and the many areas to study/work from. I always look forward to seeing what kind of seasonal decorations I will see there. One of the library employees does a FANTASTIC job of decorating the library for what seems like every occasion; I LOVE that! I also LOVE the fact that parking is free at this library and if there isn't any parking available, you can park on the street, too. There are buses which run by it which makes it accessible for non-drivers, too. It is conveniently located near a Zehrs supermarket and many other stores and restaurants. Do check it out! I know you won't regret it!
We have been to the maker space a couple times and my kids love it. Steven is so enthusiastic about helping you figure out your projects and makes the experience so much fun for my kids and I.
This library has everything you need. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. If you can't find something, they will go out of their way to help you. They will also order in items books, DVDS, etc. from other GPL's for you.
