Grouchy Daddy's

By far my favorite restaurant in town. The food is great and different from the rest of the restaurants in town. They have an ok selection of beers and even have some from the college brewery which I love to see businesses support locally. Staff are great as well. They seem to always remember you coming in if you've been there before. Great place to take family or even a date night.

The good here was really good. Read reviews before we went and didn't see any evidence supporting any of the negatives either. The service was great as well. Also glad to see them supporting Grizzly Paw Soda.

Had a Fantastic experience at Grouchy Daddy's. After a phone call and confirming they could accommodate our hockey team of players, parents and staff of 40, I was emailed menu options within a few minutes. The food was well portioned and tasted home made as advertised. Staff was quick, helpful and accommodating. If they can manage a group of this size, I can only imagine smaller groups or families would get an even closer dining experience. We will bring any other group or team in the future.

We ordered the southwest taco salad with both the potato and squash soups. While the salad had good flavour it's a little awkward to eat as the lettuce was in big chunks and the taco chips were also whole. The soup was disappointing as both soups lacked much flavour. The drinks from the bar were good and service was also quite good

Very impressed with the friendly, efficient service. The 10 items for $10 each at lunch is a nice selection. My meal was delicious and filling! They serve you quickly so it is an excellent choice if you only have an hour!
