I'm giving my review 2 stars because the clinic itself is very lovely. The front desk ladies are always pleasant to deal with but I absolutely would not recommend Dr Schloss to anyone! His bedside manner is atrocious. He does not ask any questions about what is happening. He takes a brief look at something and immediately just starts writing prescriptions. He has no interest in listening to your concerns or understanding the full picture.
My son had his first Acne consult with Dr Smith today The office is very welcoming , clean… all staff were friendly. Dr Smith was very nice, knowledgeable; I’m so happy we chose to this clinic
Really disappointed with this clinic. I sent a client here to be assessed for postoperative fibrosis & skin laxity treatment and the “technician” told her she had cellulite on her abdomen. This person has less than 3mm of fat… Clearly the technician is lacking training. Not sure why the patient wasn’t assessed by the doctor.
This is definitely the best dermatologist in Edmonton. I’ve been to 3 As soon as you walk into the building, you can tell it’s nice. It gives off “dress code” vibes. They have someone at the front handing out masks and giving out papers for covid information.very well organized. Not only that, the nurses and doctors here have very good bedside manner, and I was surprised at the one on one time to be assessed by the actually dermatologist. Dr Nakatsui cut out a scar on my face punch excision and I had 7 moles removed. I have waited years to get this taken care of, and now I feel so much better for taking family photos. The clinic was very thorough for after care, and medical prep, they had freezing set on the side In case I needed more. The consultation was good as well, I had to bring my 3 year old initially, and she left with a bag of toys and was very happy about that. Overall clean, and pleasant experience. Decor is admirably aesthetically pleasing, and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere.
Dr. Nakatsui and his team are caring, compassionate and professional. I have been going for an array of treatments and have always enjoyed being there. They are honest, upfront and give you realistic expectations. The entire team is incredible! I absolutely enjoy getting taken care of by Nurse Tammy and Charlene.
**Update** They reached out to me and I booked another appointment, the nurse that saw me mentioned that I may have to pay a fee but fortunately Dr. Nakatsui waived it. I got my 2 moles lasered off again, more aggressively this time and now, almost 4 months later they have not reappeared. Thank you Dr. Nakatsui and team! I really appreciate it! *** A couple years ago I got 2 moles removed on my face because they were a big insecurity of mine, I paid $500 to get them both removed via laser but unfortunately they were really stubborn moles and kept growing back, I went back and they repeated the process 3 different times. They were great as they didn’t charge me for the repeat laser service but I’m disappointed that I still have the moles and I’m down $500
My experience was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. And they answered any of the questions I had throughout the appointment. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
Dr. Nakatsui is a rockstar in the field of dermatology and skin care in Edmonton! We go here because we trust him and his competent and professional staffs! Expertise par excellance!
I’ve always had a positive experience at the Nakatsui DermaSurgery Centre. Staff are efficient, polite and accommodating always striving to keep appointments running smoothly. There is an air of respect not only for patients but also between staff members. I’ve always felt they listened to my concerns and addressed issues promptly. I highly recommend Dr Nakatsui and his team.
Two laser hair removal appointments cancelled in a row over a 6 week period. They call one hour before the appointment to stated it needs to be re-scheduled and then have no available appointments for re-scheduled. This place to have employees available to actually work or they shouldn't waste people's time. If a client cancels 1 hour before an appointment we would be charged but it's totally fine for them to do it with no repercussions.
