Amazing food, attentive service, great outdoor atmosphere! The wait was moderate but it was so worth it. The Hearty Pizza was perfect, it had the right balance of cheese and toppings and I didn't even notice there were olives which I normally hate, not to mention the crust was crisp but not too hard and it didn't feel greasy at all. The fish and chips also surprised me, I don't usually like fish fillets but the batter was nice and crunchy, the inside was tasty, and the fries were IMMACULATE. They didn't feel salty at all but they were the perfect shade of golden and so crisp and fresh. I will dream about these fries in my sleep. Coleslaw was quite good too and I don't regularly have coleslaw ... are you seeing a pattern here? Bonus: they have live music on the weekends and the two ladies that I saw perform were awesome. Very talented vocals with great sound balance and energy! If you go to Grand Bend, Grogs is 100% worth the drive, you won't regret it!
I always come here for the panzerotti, but I see that the pizza is really good too. Great environments fun Bartender always enjoy eating here.Food: 5/5
Great pub in the middle of the countryside! Good food with plenty of seating outside. Cheerful atmosphere. Sorry I couldn't wait to enjoy my food so you get pictures of my empty plate! My stomach hijacked my mind! Vegetarian options: Yes they do have a few vegetarian options such as pastas, beyond meat burgers, nachos, pizza, salad and some appies are veggie. You can also get gluten free or cauliflower crust pizza. They even have a keto friendly dish. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and keto options available. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and change table available. Kids menu is also available. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is wheelchair accessible entry and restroom.
We had an AMAZING experience at Grogs. The food was delicious! Pictured is the: bruschetta flatbread, Zaney breadyou won't regret getting this, nachos, a gluten free pizza, and two personal pizzas with greens. We had a short wait,but that's a good sign as it's popular! We were able to have a drink on patio while we waited and once seated our server SEAN was amazing! He was kind and attentive even on a very busy night. If you're in Grand Bend or passing by, you MUST go to Grogs!
We ate there while camping at Pinery provincial park, the chicken sandwich was OK, but the Greek salad wasn't rotten cucumber and very small portion for the $12 price tag. The ribs were awful $30. Prices are around $20. The special of the day double burger $19 was 6/10. I don't recommend.Food: 1/5
Excellent choice for a meal in the Grand Bend area. Very busy, but with relatively quick seating. Our choices of bruschetta, steak sandwich and wings and ribs were all really, really good ! The bruschetta could be improved by removing the balsamic drizzle. The steak was tender, the ribs wonderful and wings great although the accompanying beans were wierd with pineapple! The service was a little slow and inattentive but the restaurant was busy. Overall, good value! Kid-friendliness: Quite kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible
We were camping at the pinery, figured we'd stop here for lunch. Very glad we did. Patio was a decent size and very clean. Staff were amazing and friendly. Good was fantastic and their pizzas were delicious.Food: 5/5
Wow!! What an amazing set up this placw has, at least for the outdoor atmosphere as we didnt go inside. So many flowers and plants very beautiful outdoor patio. Our waiter was very attentive returned to our table quite often to check up, meal delivery wasnt too too long and the food was great! As well as the strawberry daquirie!! Thanks
Went to Grogs on the way home from camping. I loved the patio with the beautiful flowers. We had salads that were delicious! Our server was so friendly. We will definitely go here again.Food: 5/5
Updated Aug 2023 Once again our visit was 100% to our satisfaction Has a great meal tonight, served by Mel on the patio. The pizzas were great like usual, lots of toppings and crust not too heavy, the burger was juicy with soft buns as well. Overall Grogs is a favorite and a real treat when we go out for a drive. Fantastic service from a friendly waitress named McKenna, she was always smiling she made great recommendations along with checking often that we enjoyed our meals and if we needed anything. Both flavors of pizzas were very tasty, the Hellfire pizza was as spicy as promised and my wife loved her BBQ Chicken pizza, the crust on both were perfect, not too doughy, just right. Made it worth the drive from Sarnia for a different outdoor dining experience Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp ino the building and lots of outdoor patio dining has accessible seating
