Gave birth to a healthy baby boy last Feb 12. Every staff was very helpful from my labor to delivery. I am super amazed from the professionalism of the nurses at the maternity dept. and they were all awesome!! You guys are angels.

This hospital has the most ghetto hospital beds I have ever seen. Doctor office beds are more comfortable. Bring your own pillow. Plus they put 2 people in a room. The walls are filthy with holes punched in them. Only person in the waiting room and still had to wait 2 hours. If you can make it to a different hospital, go! I am not saying the doctors aren't good. Just very uncomfortable for a guy that almost died 2 weeks ago and is in a lot of pain.

My sister spent the last weeks of her life in the Palliative Care unit at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton. I was by her side throughout this time and I want to commend the entire staff for the care and support they provided for her and for her family. It is never easy to lose a family member but it is an experience that can definitely be impacted either in a negative or a positive way by the doctors and nurses. The professional expertise, the coordination of services, the patience and the desire to keep both the patient and the family as well informed as possible were all demonstrated in the time we spent in the Hospital. Thank you Unit 43. Your care and compassion were really appreciated.

Went here last night and will never go again. We arrived at 10pm and there was hardly anyone in the wait room. They said it won't be too long of a wait. The triage nurse did a quick assessment of my girlfriends hand and said they'd get her to an x-ray. 3 hours later after multiple people have arrived after us and had been helped, a doctor calls her name...only to do the exact same assessment as the first nurse, and tell her it'll be a while longer, but will be faster now that she's seem him in the waiting room. 2 hours later and still no one would see her - and in this two hours many many more people came to the waiting room and then were helped ahead of her. We ended up leaving at 3am because of how ridiculous the wait times were. We completely understand waiting when it's busy and are ok with that, but when droves of people arrive AFTER her and get helped first (with ranging severities from kidney stones, to the flu), that in our minds is completely unacceptable. Not to mention how rude some of the doctors were to her. Today she went to see her family doctor and found out her hand was in such bad shape she needs surgery. Thanks for the help Grey Nuns - will be going to any other hospital next time - I suggest anyone reading this to do the same if they can.
