Love coming here each summer when we visit family in Charlevoix! It’s become one of my favorites traditions. The 2/$60 special is a great deal and more than enough food. I love the gulf shrimp stuffed chicken, pictured.nThe atmosphere in the front of the house is my favorite.
The Brussels sprout app was delicious. I had the stuffed whitefish and it was tasty and light. The service was great. Cute ambiance.
The restaurant is next to our Bed and Breakfast!nnThe food was good! My husband planned to have whitefish and he said it's great! I stole some of his food, it was light and healthy. No fishy smell. Sprinkle more salt and pepper if you are not that healthy!nnI got both Calamari and Tuna both of them were good, I like both and ate them all. I like the way they made calamari but for the tuna, it would be better if they could give me more sauce on top or put it on the side. I ended up dipping the tuna in my calamari sauce.nnThe bread was fresh and delicious! I wish it came with fresh butter.nnService was okay, the restaurant get busy real quick and it's not easy to find our guy.nnOverall it was a nice dinner!
We had Grey Gables cater our wedding in October and they were so much more than just a caterer!nThe food was absolutely AMAZING; we are still getting compliments from guests a month later. Our dinner was a duo plate of chicken and beef and numerous guests stated it was not wedding food, but a 5 star restaurant dinner. And the late night coney bar was so much fun.nThey also went above and beyond for us and our guests - between packaging up our food we weren't able to finish, helping other guests who had to leave unexpectedly and packaging up their food, assisting us in our table clean up so we didn't have to step away in the middle of our wedding, helping display our desserts - we were in awe. Their staff were all so kind, helpful, and truly took so much stress off of my husband and I, as well as our family who we had at the ready to clean up for us. Could not thank Katie and the team enough for everything they did to make our day run so smoothly.
Three couples enjoyed having a wonderful meal in a wonderfully comfortable setting.nThe noise level never was greater than our conversations and you felt that we did not infringe on other customers.nComfortable attire including jeans and a flannel blended with other patrons. Dining areas had ample space to adjust or move about.nDinner offerings included a variety of fish, meat and poultry choices. Salads that looked incredible.nPersonally, I opted for the stuffed whitefish, that was both delicious and filling.nAll of us shared the same thoughts on the cuisine with no disappointments from some spoiled paletts.
