This is one of our favorite NEW places to stop on the weekend - the outside Pavilion at Gresham's Chop House. It is a perfect spot for some appetizers and a cocktail... very relaxed atmosphere in an awesome setting overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack.  There is usually a light breeze coming off the lake too - it is one of the best new hot spots on the lake AND entertainment on Saturday nights from 6pm - 9pm.  Park on the front lawn and walk up. FYI - Pavilion is open Thursday's through Sunday.
Shannon was our server and she was AWESOME!! The place is really cool and has a great atmosphere. The food was great. They start you off with bread and some type of olive oil infused with rosemary, I think, with shredded cheese in it. We had to ask for more, it was so good. I then had the Tomato & Fresh Mozzarella which could not have been better. My entrée was Garden Pasta which was angel hair pasta, instead of penne, fresh broccoli, button mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, spinach, oil, and garlic. I LOVED every part of my meal and service.
Excellent, excellent place to eat! The seafood casserole, bacon wrapped filet, and salmon dinner we're all incredible! The bread and oil were delicious as was the mozzarella block. Their tomato sauce is so good. Service was amazing! Ask for Bella. Also had a side of fries. Wicked. The house salad dressing was also very tasty. Nice thick blue cheese dressing. Try the "Gentleman's Lemonade!"
Even though they were very busy very popular and now I know why Mt Husband and I went for date night, waited 40 minutes, but it was so worth the wait!!! I do suggest getting there early if your not one to wait! The food was A+ MAZING and their staff was awesome!!!!! The ambiance was relax and romantic, but also great for family and a fun time!!!
This places pictures do not do it justice. Food was HIGH QUALITY, service was so friendly attentive and personable Pantaya was our server. This place knows how to cook a Bone in Ribeye!! Our other meals were delicious, and got our meal 15 minutes after getting our salads. Drinks were fantastic too! Beautiful building as well! We were so so happy, a MUST for dinner if your in the Poconos!!
Great restaurant. I had a NY Strip, rare, and it came with french fried onions, which were excellent. The waiter, Nick, recommended a Jack Daniels sauce on the side. It was a bit sweet for me but pretty good, nonetheless. My wife had orange glazed salmon, which was also very good. It was about $100 for 4. I would highly recommend this place.
I had a perfectly cooked steak that was seasoned well. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and entrees. My only concern was I ate half my meal without a drink because our waitress never came to check on us while we were eating. We sat waiting long enough after finishing our meal that we didn't want dessert either. Other than that I would recommend this restaurant. I look forward to eating here again.
My group went here for dinner. For the positives, the place was very clean and looked upscale. The service, from our greeter to our server was 10/10 great. They bent over backwards to make sure everything was good and memorable. Couldn't have asked for more from the service. The view over the lake was picturesque. For the negative, and I feel bad saying this since the service was so good, the food. The food was just not that good. We ordered a sangria which had my table asking me if they just opened Truly's into a pitcher. The appetizers [calamari, buffalo shrimp, and 'wings'] were a little soggy but alright over all. The steaks we ordered, I'm sorry to say, were just not good. Mine was very undercooked, poorly seasoned and bland, especially for what was supposed to be a high end dry aged cut. The person sitting next to me had his steak come out under cooked, looking gray on the outside and a blue cold center. Our server once again was absolutely outstanding about it and did her very best to try to make it right. Maybe it was an off day, I'm not sure.
For being off season these guys were pretty good. They were able to take us quickly and the food was good. We were visiting the lake for personal reasons but this would be a great place if you want to see the sunset just be aware if you sit outside you will see the sunset and it's full glory so careful looking across the lake. Everything was good and if we ever come back to the area I'm sure we'll eat there again.
Slow afternoon, weren't sure if they were open. open at 4 by the time we left about a dozen diners had joined us. Wonderful view of the lake from deck or from dining room. Very tastefully decorated. Friendly and efficient staff. Food served quickly and well presented. Best ribeye sandwich I had in years. Large portion first rate beef. 17.00 Braised beef special about 17.00. Nice selection of beers and specialty drinks, deserts, etc. Large bar area, looks like fun will stop again.
