Greenview Aviaries Park & Zoo

I went here with my family and we had a great time. You can purchase buckets of feed for the animals, play in the assortment of playground equipment together, there is a mini village it needs a bit of work it seems to be falling apart, splash around in a splash pad, and enjoy a picnic lunch or purchase a meal at the restaurant. Fun for all ages. I do however wish there was some type of fresh water source for the animals, many had disgusting looking water. The big cats could also do with a small pool to cool off in and play in. Its an inexpensive fun day for families all ages.

My family has been coming here since I was a young child. I loved coming to see the animals - feeding them and petting them was always an extra treat! We recently took our one year old and we had such a fabulous day. It wasn't packed, the right amount of sun and shade and it was clean. The animals were all visible - would agree that some of the exhibits are a little small - but that is something that could always be improved with future development. There is a great variety of animals. There is a large playground, a splash pad and lawn space for picnics or a spot to dry off in the sun. Our daughter loved the ball pit.

Great zoo and park for the family and kids. Love that they serve food and treats here. I would recommend the chicken fingers! They are always a family favourite. Ample parking, reasonable prices and lots of shade for hot days. Lots of animals for the kids to see and a great playground and splash pad! The only annoying thing is that there are a lot of flies in the summer. Would highly recommend for a family outing especially for little kids.

Enjoyed a visit to Greenview Aviaries last weekend with family. I’ve been visiting since it opened and love that I can view such a wide variety of animals 20 minutes from home. Our family had plenty of fun!! The zoo was nice and the kids enjoyed feeding the animals! You can buy a big bucket of animal food for 5 cad, the staff are friendly and the play area is outstanding! My 4 years old enjoyed the zip line a lot!

Great Zoo, nice experience especially for kids as their were lots of fun, interactive farm animals. The small area with games kids enjoyed a lot. Well maintained water splashes, it’s always over crowded by the kids they are really enjoying this place. Long weekends are really busy and weekends are not bad too, especially in the summer. Best time to visit is weekdays mornings. Parking lots are little bit tight here. They have good collection of animals, the reptiles area is not clean and smells bad. The food shops here is bit expensive and quantity was also less. Overall a nice place to visit with kids.

Ok, so we had been here before though it was years ago and not a lot had changed. They do have a pretty wide selection of animals, some of which are not all that exotic but were nice to see regardless. They had a really big python. Some of the animals like the goats, deer, camel, the alpaca and Llama seemed to have a lot of space, some of the areas we thought were pretty small, lions, tigers, lynx, bobcat, eagles and others. Overall, most of the animals seemed comfortable enough regardless. Most of the problems I had were with the other guests and their lack of respect for the animals and the owners. Horses don't eat bread and goats and ducks don't eat fruit loops and there was almost a fist fight when this ..."guy" punched the back of this giant turtle tortoise? and I asked him what his problem was. There was a little restaurant there and we should have ate there because it didn't look bad and because the food booth at Port GLASGOW was so busy we waited over a half hour for two burgers.
