We visited on a Saturday, in the afternoon. The tree - walk attendant gave us some genuine insight into what the land was and could be; and how those things relate to the current state of the area. We were encouraged to stay up in the canopy to experience the growth and to consider the growth's potential. It was the best advice, and should be passed on. The brief exchange was insightful and educational. The swaying on the platforms can feel like being at sea. 2 hands are needed for steadying oneself and to facilitate moving around. Take your time and enjoy the surrounding canopy, light and views. Being up off of the ground really affords a different point of view
We love this TreeWalk. This is the second time that we visit here. It's a good walk in between the big trees. You will have fun and enjoy the nice view at the canopy. If you are taking pictures in the canopy, it will be more comfortable for standing still. But please remember holding both sides of ropes when you are in the bridge when you walk or taking pictures. Now we don't need to book a time slot. You only need to get tickets online and go. It will open until mid October. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and helpful. For sure you will enjoy your visit.
Very nice walk with family increasing your adrenaline level and excitement. 11 bridges between tree tops . You will like it and you can have their tickets as part of the visit to botanical garden . Parking is available and not expensive. This experience can be enjoyed weather sunny or rainy.
The Garden itself is beautiful but the price that they charge for admission is insanity. If you're okay with paying $25 to go for a walk in a garden then go nuts. The Treewalk was cool as you are standing 20m above the ground in the trees. Spent about 1 hour there.
This was my first time in to visit any kind of a tree walk. For the price and combined with the botanical gardens it was excellent
Loved this! Great way to see a different perspective of our forests while having a bit of fun with a wobbly walk.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
This is a nice walk with family, we met one of the founders and builder of this place and explained to us the.importance of keeping and taking care of old forests. I learnt that we need to do something more active to help to keep the forest. Our generation is responsible to teach that forest is one of the main reason to reduce the global warming in this world. SUPPORT THIS PLACE AND REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS.
The guide for the entrance was super friendly and entertaining, made the short wait we had worth it. The walk itself was really nice, although I am not sure this is for everyone as it is safe but if you have a fear of heights or similar I wouldn't participate. The bridges themselves move a lot and I got slightly motion sick from it so it could be off putting for some. If you are not worried about such things I highly recommend as the experience itself and the views of the garden are amazing from it!
Many people recommended the Tree walk to us and boy were they right. We had a lovely time walking the many bridges between the tree tops. It was a refreshing activity to do in the really hot day we were there. We would say that it's a must while in Vancouver.
Beautiful walk through the gardens to get to the tree walk. Great if you aren’t afraid of heights, our kids 3&5 loved it
