What a fantastic place to create a custom piece of jewelry. Everyone is so friendly, the designers are fantastic, great communication and the entire process was so smooth. I was really nervous about designing my own piece, but Chelsea came up with a great design, we talked through the options and they made it happen. And everything was finished much sooner than we anticipated. If you are thinking about doing something one-of-a-kind, definitely consider Green Lake Jewelry Works. They know what they're doing, and want to make your experience and your piece exceptional.

The experience with Green Lake Jewelry was great from start to finish. My fiancé and I initially went in Green Lake thinking we were going to revamp my grandma's old ring. When we found out the cost to do that (it was in ROUGH shape), and I saw all of the beautiful custom rings in the store, we (I) changed our mind and decided to start from scratch. I had previously fallen in love with an art deco ring online, but it was way over budget. Sophia was able to recreate that ring, with some modifications that I requested, all within budget! I was able to get my dream ring. Working with Sophia was great, their online portal is so nice, you can communicate with your designer easily throughout the process. It did end up taking about 8 weeks for my ring, but worth the wait. This is something I will be wearing for the rest of my life and I absolutely love it.

AMAZING!!! Sophia was just outstanding to work with. I had been to several other jewelry stores to make my 'mother's ring' and none of them were upfront or helpful. One in particular kept engaging in a bait and switch. I pretty much thought it was hopeless to find the ring I envisioned. I initially did not go to Green Lake Jewerly Works because I just assumed they were to expensive. I decided to stop in just to get a quote on my ring. To my astonishment they were a little less expensive than the big box store, their process was faster and I could get a larger ring AND get it in platinum instead of white gold. I immediately started the process and within two weeks I had a cast of my ring. I decided to make the side stones a little larger so it went back to casting. A week later I had the new cast and approved it. It then went to final production. When I went to pick it up I could not believe it. Stunning was an understatement. It was even better than I envisioned. I absolutely love my one of a kind mother's ring. I was never a jewelry person but this process has converted me. Next up is having my wedding set reset in platinum!

I purchased an engagement ring for my fiancee using Green Lake's custom design process. My designer was Sophia. She was extremely helpful in guiding me in through the process. She was respectful of my budget and my vision for the engagement ring. At the same time, she offered helpful advice from her experience as a designer. She was optimistic and friendly, and she communicated with me throughout the process to keep me updated on the progress of the ring design and fabrication. The ring is beautiful, and my fiancee loves it. The total cost was what my budget allowed, and the ring was finished and delivered 2 weeks ahead of schedule. I had fun participating in the design, and my fiancee and I are incredibly satisfied with the results! I would recommend Green Lake Jewelry Works, and the designer Sophia, to anyone interested in creating a custom piece of jewelry! I expect that the other aspects of their business meet the same high standard of quality.

Chelsea was great; she took my bare-bones idea and created an original masterpiece. I can't wait to go back in with my fiance to design the wedding bands. The facility is beautiful too, and it's fun to see the artists in the back collaborating. The front desk person (don't remember her name, shortish dark hair) was also gracious and made me feel good to be there. (Bosses: give 'em raises!)
