Green Chili - Fine Indian Cuisine

Awesome food, great service. I would have understood and given them the benefit of the doubt if things went sideways as we were group of 30 people crashed into this restaurant, but they went above and beyond with their service and food. Authentic staple Nepalese food, or indian, or Hakka Chinese, you name it. I frequented few restaurants in Calgary and they are indeed at the top of my list without a shadow of doubt. Highly recommended!

It may look like an average neighbourhood joint, but Green Chilli surprised me in many ways! We went as group on a Friday night, and were immediately greeted by the staff and the incredible aroma of the indian food. The restaurant was cozy, and neat and the tables were ready and prepped with napkins, cutlery and the service was extraordinary right from the beginning. We ordered Chicken tikka, Chicken Momo, Chicken chilli, samosa, butter chicken, dal makhani and butter naan. Everything we ordered was delicious with a perfectly balanced taste including spices and seasoning. The chicken chilli is definitely my personal favourite and a must have at this place! The chicken momo is also a must have as the stuffing was juicy and delightful and packed with flavours. The chicken tikka sizzler item had the perfect smoky taste which we craved for! We also ordered mango lassi, which was personally the best lassi I have tasted at a restaurant- a very authentic taste. Green chilli serves authentic dishes and we were overwhelmed with the hospitality. 100% recommend if you are trying to taste an authentic indian/nepali cuisine in the city of calgary.

By far the best Indian food I've eaten in Calgary. I have been here thrice already in my 3 week visit and keep going there for more. Their speciality - Momo's are absolutely delicious! Also, I haven't eaten such soft Naan's in any restaurant back in India. Their menu is quite good with veg options also available. John has been a very kind and knowledgeable host and always suggested the best and yummiest dishes. I totally recommend this restaurant for a dine-in or a take-away and you wouldn't be disappointed! A 10/10 rating from me!

Ordered momos and chicken tikka. Momos were good in taste but chicken was all burnt out. The restaurant was completely empty and they took 30 mins to prepare food and then the kitchen closed. The representative did not offer the chef’s menu or drinks menu till we asked for it. Nobody asked how the food is. Won’t go there again!

We had our daughters first birthday done at this place. Guys if you have any small parties for upto 40 people this is the best place to go check it out. The food was fantastic. They went above and beyond to accommodate everything we asked for. And also John is one of the guys who run the place and he is very easy to communucate with and very nice guy to deal with. Thank you so much for making our baby girls first birthday and memorable one to us.

They definitely took care of me after skip the dishes did not, they could have left me hanging but they went above and beyond to personally deliver my food. Thank you the tandoori chicken and Paneer was unbelievable. I’ll be back.

This is truly the worst Indian food I've ever had in my life. Ordered Butter chicken and the sauce was straight up liquid, tasted like they poured a can of Campbell's tomato soup in it. The naan bread wasn't cooked through and was doughy and completely horrible.
